Big Google Photos update rolling out with fresh three-tab design, mapping feature, and new icon (APK Download)

Google Photos is easily one of Google's most magical and indispensable services, and now it's getting a tasteful redesign. The app is getting a simpler three-tab interface, and the map view previously spotted in testing is now official. The new changes cover not just the app, but the familiar pinwheel icon, too, which is getting a simpler (and seemingly polarizing) look. The changes, which were officially announced last week on June 25, are now rolling out to users via a server-side switch. Sygic is one of the most well known mapping software providers especially in car dashboards. And thanks to detailed TomTom maps, offline maps access, extensive POI databases, and some more features available in its app, it's also a viable option on your Android phone. The free tier only gets you this far though, it's the Premium option that enables turn-by-turn navigation, speed limit warnings, lane guidance, and more. However, even if you had paid for the Premium license, you still didn't have access to the Dashcam and Head-up Display features.

Those were paid add-ons (on top of your paid Premium license), but that changes today.

Google Fit v1.55.44 Adds Run Mapping, Nutrition And Sleep Tracking, Audible Alerts, And Much More [APK Download + Teardown]

A very long-awaited update to Google Fit began rolling out earlier this week, but it seemed to focus almost entirely on improvements to the Wear micro-app while the main app was all but ignored. As it turns out, that was a mistake. A fresh update to the app started rolling out yesterday and it brings the rest of the features that were intended for this release – and what a list of features they are.

Note: Everything here was about to be part of a teardown, but the update stole that thunder.
