OnePlus posts downloads for OxygenOS Open Beta 5 and 15 for the OnePlus 7 and 7T series

OxygenOS Beta 5 and Beta 15 have started rolling out for the OnePlus 7T and 7 series, respectively, delivering a handful of new features, the latest security patches, some updated branding, and a pile of smaller fixes. Among the headlining changes are a "notification bar" shortcut for Dark Mode, tweaks to the default dialer app's interface to surface frequently called contacts, and Bluetooth hearing aid support, plus the latest patches. Note: Although the changelog claims that this update brings back the one-handed mode that OnePlus has been testing since the beginning of the year, the company says that is incorrect, and the feature is not included in this build.

June security patches for Samsung flagships heading out around the globe

Samsung's phones appear to have beaten Google again to deliver this month's security patches. Reports indicate that some U.S. models of the Galaxy S10, S20, and Note10 series started receiving the update early this morning, though it isn't landing on all variants at once.

June updates for Google Pixels are here with plenty of bugfixes

Google's monthly Pixel software update is now rolling out, including June 2020's security patches and changes announced as part of this quarter's Pixel Feature Drop. The OTA should be rolling out in the traditional sense shortly, but in the meantime, you can sideload the update yourself, or peruse the huge list of Pixel functional patches — they're almost all just fixes, but there's a ton of them.
