The Pixel 2 and 2 XL were announced last week, but with most variants not shipping for a few weeks, those of you who pre-ordered one are probably getting a little antsy. But starting tomorrow, October 12th, Verizon stores will have floor units of the Pixel 2s for customers (and eager tech nerds) to play with. Read More
If the Moto 360 price drops from two days ago aren't sweet enough for you, it looks like Best Buy is offering an in-store deal that could be even better if executed correctly.
Until April 18th, Best Buy will give in-store customers $100 off the Moto 360 when purchased with any Android phone. The key word here of course is "any." According to one tipster, this even works with inexpensive prepaid devices. (This particular tipster went the extra mile, combining the deal with a USPS movers coupon and a .edu discount, for a final cost of just $118 plus tax for the 360 with a steel band.) Read More
Now's not the best time to buy a tablet, what with all the new goodies coming out of Computex and Google due for a new round of Nexus machines in a few months. Enter the code SAVE20 at checkout and you can take 20% off of any tablet you like, so long as you select in-store pickup. Alternatively, you can print out the same coupon and buy it directly from the brick-and-mortar store. Read More

It's a wild day for Best Buy Mobile and the Samsung Nexus S, and from the looks of it, it's only going to get wilder.
No, it's not just you - the device on the right-most side of the screenshot above is indeed running Gingerbread (at least judging by the notification bar and its revamped icons), and it is indeed what we've come to know as the Nexus S. Unfortunately, there's no pre-order link in sight this time around, but at least we now know what the phone will actually look like outside of fake Photoshop renders. Damn, Best Buy, just release the thing already. Read More
UPDATE: Per our informer below in the comments, this may be limited to only some Verizon retail locations. But, there is confirmation that several actual Verizon locations would not sell unsubsidized devices in the link we’re sourcing.
Numerous persons are confirming in comments and side-notes on DroidLife that some Verizon stores are refusing to sell unsubsidized (full-price) Droid X’s to customers who are showing up and waiting in line for the device this morning. They are reportedly being directed to place orders online and have the phone shipped. While this is arguably little more than a shrewd business tactic, it certainly doesn’t make Verizon look any better given all the bad press the Droid X has been getting. Read More
