With all the uncertainty, I don't imagine Android Wear smartwatches will be a hot item this holiday season. Some people are probably still willing to take a risk, but pickings are getting slim either way. Even though it launched more than a year ago, the Huawei Watch is still considered by many to be the best Android Wear device. It's no longer on sale in the Google Store, though.

The Huawei Watch is generally regarded as one of the best AW watches currently available, but it usually commands a high price tag. You might be wondering, "What's the catch?" As far as I can tell, there isn't one. The Huawei Watch features a 400x400 resolution screen, a speaker, and of course runs on Android Wear. It's also one of two devices that you can flash the Android Wear 2.0 Preview on, so it's safe to assume it will receive the final update when it is released.
Possibly the only downside is that the Huawei Watch doesn't have the newer Snapdragon Wear 2100 CPU, which recent Android Wear devices include.

In my opinion, the Huawei Watch is the best Android Wear watch available on the market now, and that hasn't changed in the many months since its introduction. While we're still waiting for the next generation of Wear devices to be released, prices on Huawei's beautiful watch have been dropping increasingly.
