Huawei's P20 is known for being available in some refreshingly funky color schemes. It launched in a few different colors, including the eye-catching Twilight variant, which has a color-changing finish that shifts from blue to purple to green depending on the lighting. Now, the P20 is getting four new non-traditional finishes: two more iridescent models, and two sporting leather. Read More
What do you call a copy of a copy? The Moto P30, if new leaks are any indication.
A wealth of images and specifications for the Moto P30 have emerged via Chinese social media platform Weibo, publication Androidpure, and through the company's own channels (some reportedly by mistake). All show what appears to be a pretty clear-cut copy of Huawei's P20 and P20 Pro, which itself borrows many of its design elements from Apple's iPhone X. Read More
Some six months after launching its late-2017 flagship, the very capable Mate 10 Pro, Huawei took to the stage in Paris at the end of March to show off the new P20 series. The spotlight was, of course, on the P20 Pro with its unusual third camera, but the little sibling was not to be left out. Though it lacks the tertiary sensor that's present in its larger brother, the "regular" P20 sports most of the same features. Read More
Google's ARCore technology is building steam since its initial test launch on Pixel and Galaxy S8 phones. This came with a promise to support more phones, which was followed a few weeks later with a half-dozen more phones added during MWC. We might still be a couple of weeks away from the official unveiling of the Huawei P20, but we've already found out most of what there is to know about the upcoming phone. This year, Huawei decided to switch things up, choosing not to reveal the newest member of its P series at this year's MWC and wait to launch it in Paris on March 27. Read More
Huawei's presence at MWC seems to be a bit less than years past, aside from the new MediaPad tablets and Matebook X Pro ultrabook (the latter looks really nice, but that's outside of our wheelhouse here at AP). However, the Chinese manufacturer has decided to let Samsung have all of the attention this year in Barcelona, and instead hold its own event in Paris at the end of March. What is Huawei planning to do, you might ask? Announce the newest member of the P family, the P20. Read More
