Stadia is rolling out 4K support on the web

Stadia's launch was rough, to say the least — it felt like a beta release. Google promised a ton of features that ended up not being available back in November 2019, and they're only now trickling down into the service one by one. The company is picking up steam, though. After just making screenshots and captures downloadable this week, Stadia has now also added 4K support to its Chrome version for some users.

Sony announces 48-megapixel smartphone camera sensor

Sony has announced that it's developed a smartphone camera sensor with a silly-high resolution of 48 megapixels. The new IMX586 is apparently the world's first sensor to feature a pixel size of 0.8 μm — and those tiny pixels allowed for Sony to cram a whole lot of them into a component small enough to fit in a smartphone chassis.

BBC News App Updated To Work On 1080p Devices, Adds Widgets And A Bit More Holo

The BBC News reader on Android got an update today that should please the pixel poppers among the audience. The app has been optimized to take advantage of Super Mega Ultra dense displays like on the Xperia Z and Droid DNA (to say nothing of the upcoming HTC One and Galaxy S 4). A pile of bugs have been squashed in the new update as well.
