Zynga has officially announced that it's working on a Harry Potter match-3 game for mobile. This game is called Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells, and of course, Zynga has yet to share a single screenshot or video of the title. Paradoxically Zynga has noted that the game is already available as a soft-launch release in the Philippines, which means the studio is already publicly testing the title, which begs the question as to why there are zero screenshots or videos shared with today's announcement. Could it be that Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells is such a shallow cash grab that it's in the developer's best interest to hide what the game looks like before an official worldwide release? Read More

There's a new Harry Potter spinoff hitting movie theaters soon, in case you haven't turned on a television, surfed the web, or looked at a billboard in the last few months. And because Warner Bros. isn't interested in making a new movie without the potential for yet another billion-dollar set of sequels, they're pulling out all of the stops for the marketing for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. That includes some new Easter eggs (do wizards celebrate Easter? Maybe chocolate frogs or something) in Google Search, Maps, and the upcoming Daydream VR platform. Read More
Many years ago, my first game console was a Nintendo DS Lite. And one of the first games I got for it was LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga. It still remains one of my favorite games of all time, mostly because of nostalgia to that red and black handheld, but also because the LEGO video games are incredibly fun and engaging (for all ages).
LEGO Harry Potter was originally released in 2010 for Windows, various game consoles, and iOS, followed by a Mac release a year later. Almost six years after it was released on that other mobile platform, Android users can finally enjoy the blocky wizard-themed fun. Read More
