The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot was originally a free-to-play action role-playing game developed by Ubisoft Montreal for PC. After its release in 2015, the game only lasted a year before Ubisoft shut down its servers. Never a company to rest on its laurels, Ubisoft has seen fit to bring the game back for mobile devices, and it just landed on the Google Play Store as a new release.

[Update: Officially released] Premium platformer Grimvalor now in early access on the Play Store

Grimvalor is a popular mobile hack and slash platformer that was originally released on iOS at the end of 2018. On the Apple App Store the game is available with an upfront price, though the new early access Android release forgoes that style of monetization to offer the download and first act for free, and if you decide that you enjoy the game, you can unlock all five of its acts through a single in-app purchase priced at $6.99.

PlatinumGames and DeNA announce upcoming hack-and-slash 'World of Demons'

PlatinumGames is best known for their AAA console and PC titles, and they have apparently teamed up with DeNA to create an all-new hack-and-slash samurai game for mobile called World of Demons. An announcement trailer was released today, and some further details have been trickling out at a few of the major gaming websites. We can expect a release for Android sometime this summer, but it's sadly going to be free-to-play with in-app purchases. I guess Platinum couldn't pass up that sweet mobile cash, which is disheartening, to say the least.

See that red-haired hero up there? He's gotten angrier over the years. In the first Eternity Warriors, he held his blade over his head, enthusiastically ready to jump into a horde of demons and serve them a fresh slice of justice. Then, after what was quite a disappointing quest, he returned for a sequel looking much angrier, as though he couldn't believe he had to go through this again.
