Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, previously available only on the Flexion store and for the Xperia Play, is now in the Android Market. It's the same action-filled cops vs. runners game from the 2010 remake of the old-school classic, so buckle up and get ready.
You have the choice between 20 different cars to use, customize, and put to the test in over 24 different tracks. There are also over 48 career events available, where you can play as either cop or racer, collect bounty, and show the world what you're made of.
If you're tired of Angry Birds (who isn't?) but still enjoy the flick-and-break game mechanics, the allow me to turn your attention to a new game called Princess Punt. The name itself is very fitting for the game -- it's weird, quirky, and eye catching. It's more than just a kill-things-and-get-stars philosophy, too -- it also brings RPG action to the genre. The developer is calling it an action puzzle RPG, which I think is quite fitting.
For the past two weeks, we've been chomping at the bit for some good, old fashioned 1991-style ass-kicking-action. The kind of retro goodness that takes you back to the days of old while simultaneously filling your blood-lust as you saving the Earth's women from being alien-abducted for purposes of breeding. Yeah, I'm talking about none other than Duke Nukem 3D.
The official port of DN3D landed in the Market earlier today, ready to rock your world on all "newer multi-touch devices." It's optimized for phones and tablets, boasts intuitive touch controls, and installs to SD by default.
Wind-Up Knight is a high-end 3D action game that will destroy you. That is the first sentence of the Market listing for the new game from development team Robot Invader. Pretty big words to live up to, don't you think? Whether it will actually destroy me or not will have to be seen, but, after watching the gameplay trailer, I can safely say that it looks awesome.
Impressive, no? It has more to offer than smooth side-scrolling graphics and a quirky-cute aesthetic appeal, too.
If you're the type who is into monster trucks, then you're probably going to love Megastunt Mayhem. The gist is pretty simple: make your big truck do all kinds of crazy flips, tricks, hops, jumps and other stunts. As a result of landing said tricks, you get paid, which, in turn, you can use the money to modify your truck even more. See where this is going?
