It would seem Square Enix still insists on making release announcements in the West using Japanese dates, which is a day ahead of the US. This is how previously announced dates, such as the July 15th date for the mobile version of Trials of Mana, end up getting released a day ahead of the actual announced time. And so, Trials of Mana is now available on the Play Store, and since this is a premium release, you can pick it up for $23.99.
Albion Online comes from many of the people that worked on EVE Online, and so it too is a sandbox MMO, and as you can see in the picture above, it offers a fantasy theme. Back when the game was crowdfunded through founders packs, it was promised that an Android and iOS version would be made. An Android APK has been available since 2017, but the iOS version is still missing. Well, as of today, Sandbox Interactive has announced that the MMO will be officially released on Android and iOS this summer, with cross-play in tow for all platforms.
The Warhammer series has seen many mobile releases, and almost all of them are horrible cash-grabs. Apparently, Games Workshop will license the property out to anyone, but for once, I have a Warhammer announcement that's actually good news. You see, Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus is a well-reviewed strategy game from PC and consoles that's coming to mobile soon. To be more specific, this is a turned-based strategy game that plays similarly to the X-Com series, and it's coming to Android and iOS tablets on April 22nd.
The Play Store recently received a new title for pre-registration, and it's an upcoming Walking Dead game themed around strategic survival-based gameplay. It's called The Walking Dead: Survivors, and it would appear the game has been in the works since at least November 2020, judging by the official Facebook page. Well, as of this weekend, those in the US, Germany, and Russia can pre-register for the title in anticipation of the upcoming launch.
