My smartwatch keeps me off my phone, and I'm not complaining
Who said having a second screen has to be bad for your well-being?
Smartphone addiction is a harsh phrase for describing how we interact with a tool that we all rely on for getting our everyday stuff done. But it becomes a problem when you start finding it hard to put your phone down and lose yourself in an endless feed of reels, which mimics a slot machine, promising imminent gratification. A lot of phone makers these days have built-in solutions like Digital Wellbeing and Zen Mode to keep this behavior in check and help you live in the moment instead of staring at a slab of glass. Some users even resort to switching to a dumbphone entirely, which is far too extreme a solution. I found myself on the other end of the spectrum, as strapping another device to my wrist helped cut down my screen time, and I’m not complaining.
I can't believe this Galaxy Watch 4 Classic deal is still in stock
I got 99 problems, but this watch ain't one
There are a myriad of amazing deals running as Black Friday descends once again, but one of the best actually debuted back on November 8. Among the first of Walmart's Black Friday deals, this sale made my jaw drop, and friends, that's a rare thing when you've been judging deals and memorizing price histories as long as I have. Though two years old, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic still regularly sells at $230-$280 out of its original $350, and Best Buy's "Black Friday deal" (that's really just a clearance sale) only knocks it down to $250.
The best smartwatch deal of the year is here, but it’ll definitely sell out again
Don't wait for Friday; nothing will beat this $99 Galaxy Watch 4 Classic deal
We're finally seeing the full brunt of this Black Friday's smartwatch and fitness tracker deals, and while Samsung and Amazon are doing their best to lure owners to the latest Galaxy Watch 6, Walmart made my jaw drop at seeing this Galaxy Watch 4 Classic Black Friday deal. Samsung released the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic back in 2021, but it's still among the best Android smartwatches you can buy today, even though it is now two generations old.
Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic vs. Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic: Back in rotation
Samsung brings back a fan-favorite feature that puts these two closer together, but what about everything else?
Samsung stakes part of its reputation on trying things to see what sticks. The company often finds itself listed among the best smartwatches for Android, where it's a good bet that any Galaxy Watch is among them. The Galaxy Watch 6 Classic is somewhat of a throwback in that it brings back the physical rotating bezel that was a trademark feature for years until Samsung cut it loose — and the "Classic" moniker — in the previous Watch 5 series. That omission makes comparing the Watch 6 Classic and Watch 4 Classic more interesting. Should you go older school or strap the newer one on your wrist instead? Let's go over the details.
Woot's Samsung sale takes hundreds off the Galaxy S22 series and all of its accessories
Samsung's last-gen Galaxy tech gets big discounts during Woot's Geek Week sale
While Samsung's latest line of Galaxy S23 smartphones and Galaxy Watch 5 smartwatches just hit the market earlier this year, not all of us out there are technological hipsters looking to jump to the newest devices as soon as they arrive. There's still some good life to get out of older generation devices like the Galaxy S22 or the Galaxy Watch 4 (the latter of which is barely two years old), and, in rare cases, you can find them extremely cheap.
Nab one of the top fitness smartwatches at $180 off with this Galaxy Watch 4 Classic deal
Premium construction, a rotating bezel, and the versatile Wear OS 3 make this a hard sale to pass up
Wearables like smartwatches and fitness trackers run the gamut from cheap, tiny, and specialized to costly and full-featured, and the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic combines some of the best aspects of both extremes. The 42-millimeter version is a great size for most people, and it sports a wide range of features for both monitoring health and conveniently accessing entertainment and time management apps. Even though it's been supplanted by the Watch 5, the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic remains a stellar smartwatch, particularly when you can find it at a discount — like today!

It's Black Friday and that means there are some enticing deals available on smartwatches. Amazon isn't the only retailer discounting products with the best Black Friday deals, and we've come across this brilliant deal on the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic at Walmart. Same processor and performance as the $450 Watch 5 Pro, but half the price
Wearables have come a long way in the last few years, and today's best Android smartwatches offer better performance, more features, higher reliability, and longer-lasting batteries than ever. While the most cutting-edge models can cost a pretty penny, you can get your hands on the most essential smartwatch capabilities by opting for a model from the previous generation, such as the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch4 is $50 off and comes with a free wireless charger for Cyber Monday
It's the best Wear OS smartwatch you can get
Google and Samsung recently teamed up to revive Wear OS. The Galaxy Watch4 ended up becoming the best smartwatch running the new OS but it doesn't come cheap, traditionally selling for $250 for the most affordable model. Thankfully, this Cyber Monday, all models are $50 off and come with a free wireless charger. This is an even better deal than the Black Friday one, as the discount remains the same, but the timepiece comes with an extra freebie.

Weekend poll: Did you pre-order any of Samsung's newest gadgets?
Flips and Folds and Watches, oh my!
This week, Samsung finally held its long-awaited Galaxy Unpacked event, showing off its latest folding phones alongside new smartwatches and some fancy ANC-equipped earbuds. Despite plenty of leaks ruining the surprise, this fall's lineup looks to be one of its best yet, making it harder than ever to pick which device you're going to pre-order.

Reserve now for up to $100 in trade-in value, a free year of Samsung Care+, and an undefined bonus
Samsung has unfolded our collective invitation to August 11th's Galaxy Unpacked event. Get it — unfolded? Look, Samsung's almost certainly going to launch the new Z Fold3 and Flip3, its two hotly anticipated foldables, at the now-confirmed August 11th event, and that's the only joke we could think to make. Sorry. But you can reserve the company's "next flagship" (gee, what on earth could that be?) starting today and get up to $100 more on your trade-in, a year of free Samsung Care+, and an undefined "special" pre-order offer.
If you want to know the date for Samsung's next Unpacked event, just ask Bixby
Guess it had to be useful for something eventually
Like any tech company, Samsung loves to keep its upcoming devices as secretive as possible to surprise its fans during an official launch event. Of course, there's a certain saying about best-laid plans, which is why we have a pretty good idea of all of the upcoming gadgets arriving this fall. After accidentally showing off a couple of unannounced products in a promotional video, Samsung is officially teasing its next Galaxy Unpacked event with a bit of help from Bixby.
