Predicting that Samsung will release a new Lite-flavored Galaxy tablet doesn't make you Nostradamus: the company is the only one (aside from Amazon) that consistently scores hits with Android tablet hardware. We've seen inklings of the Galaxy S7 Lite earlier this year, but prolific leaker Onleaks is back with images and a full 360-degree render of the upcoming device.
Samsung checked a lot of right boxes to make the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite one of our favorite affordable tablets from last year. A new leak suggests that the company is working on its follow-up, allegedly named Galaxy Tab S7 Lite, along with a lite version of its already cheap Galaxy Tab A7. Both these tablets are expected to be out this summer.
Samsung usually releases two Tab S slabs in a year and we're inching toward what would historically be the time for a "Lite" release. While we don't have any spec points to discuss at the moment, it's been figured that a mid-range tablet or even two are on their way, including the first in the category to connect to 5G.
