Samsung has consistently been ahead of the curve with security updates this year, and that continues now as the July 2021 patch hits the Galaxy devices series internationally. As the month rolls on, we're seeing it hit more and more devices.

If you're into photography and are on the lookout for a decent and affordable Android phone, the Samsung Galaxy A9 may be worth considering. It offers decent specs, a pleasant design, and has four — yes four! — rear cameras, to capture every important moment. Considering the handset is only six months old and is currently selling for $200 less than its MSRP, it's definitely a bargain.

After recent rumors and leaks, Samsung sent out invites to an event today promising "4x fun." Sure enough, the South Korean giant announced the Galaxy A9 (2018), with great emphasis on its four rear cameras, the first in a mainstream smartphone. It also packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor and either 6 or 8GB of RAM.

Samsung announced new versions of its semi-budget A series phones earlier this month, and now it's dropping one more model into the mix. The Galaxy A9 will be the most premium of the lot with a 6-inch 1080p AMOLED and a 4000mAh battery.
