The September patch is also available for a plethora of phones and tablets including the S21 series

Samsung is staying true to tradition this week as it releases the September 2021 security patch before any other company, in some cases before August had even finished. This update includes a new version of One UI for the Galaxy Z Flip and Z Flip 5G, bringing features from the new Z Flip3 to the older devices internationally.

The Galaxy A32 5G is the cheapest Samsung phone on Google Fi, but not the one you should get right now

Promotional discounts and some tempting Motorola and Pixel options make this deal less appealing at the moment

The Galaxy A series represents an excellent intersection of performance and price, and now there's a new option sold straight on Google Fi. Google's offering the Galaxy A32 5G, announced at the start of this year, sold directly from the Fi store. It's $280 outright, which is only a little more than you'll find the phone unlocked. But as good a deal as that is, new Google Fi customers probably shouldn't pick one up.

Samsung already announced its international lineup of 2021 A-series devices — some last year, some last month. They look promising, with sleek designs, capable specs, and some serious improvements over last year's selection. But it turns out the US selection will look a bit different at launch. For one, no fun colors: the whole series will initially only be available in monochrome colorways stateside. There are also currently no plans to launch the A72 in the US. Still, there's plenty for American customers to be excited about — and soon.

We just saw the Galaxy A32 leaked in press renders a few days ago, but Samsung has gone ahead and made this entry-level 5G phone official just a day before it's set to announce the flagship Galaxy S21 series. It seems like a solid phone, especially for those who value 5G bragging rights.
