LG support site details a very pokey Android 11 update plan

Some phones have a timeline as late as Q4 2021

So far, the only notable LG devices we've seen updated to Android 11 are the V60 and the Velvet (in South Korea, anyway). According to a support page on LG's German site, a few more phones will get the big software bump ... just don't expect them to be especially timely. Why would you, at this point?

For several years now, unlocking LG phones has required the use of the company's official unlock tool. Not all of LG's devices are supported, but now three more phones have been added to the roster. Get your custom ROMs ready.

The day I'm sure we've all been anticipating with bated breath has finally arrived: LG is expanding availability for the G8S ThinQ to international markets after debuting in Taiwan. This phone is mostly the G8 you've come to know and love, but there's another camera and a few minor spec changes.

We've seen leaks and renders of the LG G8 for months now, and the company itself has released a few previews over the past few weeks. Some information has also become public about the next V-series phone, with alleged 5G support. At Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, LG revealed both of these flagships — the G8 ThinQ and V50 ThinQ.
