Although Motorola has been slow to roll out Android 10 to most of its devices globally, the company is at least keeping custom ROM developers happy with steady kernel source releases. Source code for the Moto One Power and One Hyper's Android 10 updates had already been available, and following releases for the G7 Plus and G8 Power, the G8 Play is joining the group.
Lenovo-owned Motorola has just unveiled three new phones and expanded the availability of the Motorola One Macro it launched earlier this month. The Moto G8 Plus and Moto G8 Play are the first of a new generation of mid-range G series phones, while the E6 Play is another entry into the ultra-budget segment. The two Play models are only launching in select Latin American countries, to begin with, but I’ve been able to spend some time with the other two phones.
