The Huawei Honor 8 just made our list of the most wanted midrange phones of 2016 (between $250 and $500) because of its impressive specs at a price that can go down to $300 sometimes. Well, now is one of those times. The Honor 8 is being discounted at several online retailers with lots of free goodies to sweeten the deal even further.

Newegg has the best deal on the Honor 8, offering $100 on both the 32GB and 64GB models in all of their available colors: black, white, blue, and gold (only 64GB). This brings the price down to $299 and $349, respectively, but Newegg is throwing in a bunch of freebies: $50 Newegg gift card, Huawei Honor 8 case, Huawei Gift Box (includes selfie stick, extra power charger and USB-C cable, and Micro-USB to USB-C adapter), and a JBL Synchros E40BT Bluetooth headphones that has an MSRP of $125 (now priced at around $90 on Amazon) in pink.

[Deal Alert] T-Mobile & MLB Up The Ante For T-Mobile Customers This Year With A Free Subscription To MLB.TV Premium For All Subscribers ($110 Value)

T-Mobile and MLB have a marketing relationship that spans back several seasons. Since the beginning of that relationship, T-Mobile subscribers have received a free yearly subscription to MLB.TV At Bat – a paid mobile service that lets users listen to game broadcasts, follow live stats, and watch highlight replays. Normally $20 a season, it was a nice gift that baseball lovin' T-Mobile customers (myself included) appreciated.

This year, the gift for T-Mobile users is way better. From April 3rd through the 10th, customers can sign up for a free subscription of MLB.TV Premium, which is MLB's full-blown video streaming service. With a subscription, T-Mobile customers can watch every out-of-market baseball game (and in-market games as well for a few select teams) this season.

[Freebies And Fighting] Packt Is Kicking Off Android vs. iOS Week With Free Xamarin Cross-Platform Dev eBook And Promises Exclusive Deals To The Winning OS

Remember back in December (and January) when Packt Publishing gave away a couple free ebooks focused on Android development? The one-a-day promotion has been going strong since, but the books haven't exactly been targeted at the OS on our phones. But great news: this whole week is dedicated to mobile development!

The current freebie is all about showing love to both sides of the phone war – it's Xamarin Cross-platform Application Development. But you better hurry over and claim it, this particular book will expire in just over 5 hours. (Sorry, we saw this one a little late).

While the free book is enough reason to drop by, there's something more interesting afoot in this promotion.

[Available All Around The World] You Can Now Redeem 3 Months Of Spotify Premium On All Chromecasts

It's Black Friday, and deals are popping up everywhere like crazy. The Nexus 9 saw its price slashed by a whopping $200 and the brand-new Nexus 5X is being sold at just $299 on the Google Store and B&H. But while those deals are definitely great and all, nothing beats free.

If you own a Chromecast, free is exactly what you can get. Right now, you can redeem 90 days of Spotify Premium for precisely zero dollars and zero cents. We're not entirely sure in which countries this offer applies, since Google only mentions the US, Puerto Rico, and Malaysia in their support page, but I can definitely confirm that it also works in Portugal, so there's a very good chance you'll be able to redeem it in many of the almost 60 countries where Spotify is available.

Get A Free Google Cardboard VR Viewer... From This Porn Site (US Only)

If you haven't been able to grab a free Google Cardboard VR headset from various trade shows, under-supplied OnePlus promotions, Conan O'Brien, or anyone else, there's one more option. FreeVRGoggles.com does what it says on the box, so to speak: if you're a United States resident over the age of 18, just enter an address and an email and they'll send you a free Google Cardboard unit. (You can probably use a fake email address... and you might want to.) Slip your phone inside and you get access to all the compatible apps on the Play Store. Why? That's an interesting question.
