After almost a year in testing, EA has officially released 'The Sims Mobile' on Android

That's right, after almost a year of The Sims Mobile existing as a soft launch testing release, Electronic Arts has finally seen fit to open the floodgates and officially push this title out to the rest of the world. But before you get too excited, it is sadly just like every other The Sims mobile game on our platform. This means you can expect plenty of wait timers and in-app purchases that range up to $99.99 per item.

Madfinger Games' long awaited FPS 'Shadowgun Legends' finally gets a release date: March 22

Madfinger Games' Shadowgun Legends has been in development for so long at this point that I completely forgot about it. But apparently, Madfinger is still plugging away. The official company Twitter recently tweeted that it will be releasing on March 22nd. So yeah, we will have to wait just a little while longer, though it's reassuring that they felt confident enough to finally mention a date.

[Hands-on] Night Driver, a boring and unwieldy racer from Atari with a rad '80s theme

It isn't often that Atari brings new games to the Play Store, which is why I wanted to take a closer look at their upcoming release Night Driver. If the name sounds familiar, well, that is because it's an old arcade game originally developed by Atari back in 1976 that was also ported later to the Atari 2600 and Commodore 64. This soft-launched mobile version is supposed to be a reimagining of the original racer, with all-new graphics and gameplay. It's also a free-to-play title with plenty of in-app purchases. So don't get your hopes up too high just yet.

Nexon is developing a Power Rangers RPG, and you can test the beta right now

Apparently, Nexon is taking a stab at creating a mobile RPG with the Power Rangers license. It is called Power Rangers : RPG and it's without a doubt another free-to-play brawler with RPG and collection aspects. More or less it is precisely the type of game you would expect to be developed by Nexon.

Bandai Namco's free-to-play fighting game 'Tekken Mobile' has been officially released

Well, how about that? It would appear that Tekken Mobile has come out of soft-launch today to finally release for the majority of Play Store users. It is, of course, a fighting game, but more along the lines of the mobile version of Injustice 2 than anything previously found in the Tekken franchise. So yes, this means you can expect collectible cards (in a fighting game no less), horrible controls that force you to use those collectible cards, and a plethora of in-app purchases that are of course used to buy all of those collectible cards. So yeah, you can clearly see where this is going.

Glitch Dash is a brutally challenging auto-runner that demands quick and precise movement

David Marquardt's Glitch Dash is his third game released on the Play Store, and oh boy did he ever hit this one out of the park. Unlike most auto-runners, this is not a game for casuals. The difficulty is high, and it only gets higher the further you progress. Now I'm not saying this to scare away players as this is a beautiful running game that is a blast to play, but rest assured it will be quite a challenge to reach the end.

Lost Socks: Naughty Brothers is a challenging auto-running platformer that just released for Android

The developer Nerf-Game has finally released its challenging 2D auto-running platformer Lost Socks: Naughty Brothers on the Google Play Store. It has been two years since the original iOS release, and in that time it has changed from a premium game to a free-to-play title. Despite the shift in monetization the challenging gameplay and goofy story are just as great as ever.

[Hands-on] Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery, a solid choose your own adventure that gets the job done

Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery may not be the first officially licensed Harry Potter game on Android, but it's probably going to be the most popular, at least until we see what Niantic has up its sleeve for its upcoming augmented reality title Harry Potter: Wizards Unite. Only just recently has Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery arrived on the Play Store as a soft-launch title, which means it's getting close to an official release. But since there is still no hard date set for when that will happen I have decided to sideload the APK in order to see what it has to offer and share my thoughts.

Endless runner 'Run Sausage Run!' has racked up 10 million installs, and it's showing no signs of slowing down

You may have never heard of TabTale before, but that's probably because they tend to concentrate their efforts on "super casual indie games." The thing is that appears to be working in their favor as they have a breakout hit on their hands with the recent release of Run Sausage Run!, a free-to-play endless runner. Within the last 6 weeks of the game's initial release it has racked up over 10 million installs, and its popularity is showing no signs of slowing down.

Sonic CD Classic is the latest SEGA Forever release on the Play Store

Sega has been releasing new Android games for their SEGA Forever program on a bi-weekly basis for quite a while now. Sonic CD Classic is the latest to hit the Play Store. It is, of course, an HD port of the classic Sega CD platformer. Just like every other SEGA Forever release, Sonic CD Classic is a free-to-play title with a single $1.99 in-app purchase to remove the game's plentiful advertisements. Sadly I do not recommend spending any of your money on this release, which I will detail in full below.
