With seemingly everyone working from home these days, managing your time — and even keeping track of what day it is — has become a challenge for us all. It’s up to you to watch yourself, and there has never been a better time to LITERALLY watch yourself than now (See what we did there?).
One of the great things about being an Android user is that there are plenty of good smartwatch options to match any style and preference. If you want the best Wear OS watch on the market, though, there is only one that we'd recommend above all the rest. For a limited time, you can pick up a brand new Fossil Gen 5 smartwatch for only $172 ($123 off) at Amazon.
The Fossil Gen 5 is currently one of the best Wear OS smartwatches you can get if you want to invest in Google's vision for wearables. Only about three months after the initial release, it's already heavily discounted on Amazon. You can save $90 on the Carlyle Stainless Steel and the more feminine Julianna Stainless Steel variants of the watch as they're down to just $205.
Fossil's made quite a name for itself as one of the few OEMs that has stuck with Wear OS since its early days as Android Wear. Now you can own some of the company's very best wearable tech, like the worthy Gen 4 and the lauded Fossil Sport, for a steep discount. Right now, save up to 63% on more than half of Fossil's current smartwatch portfolio on Fossil's website and at Amazon.
But they do want $200-or-so ones, it seems. This morning, Fossil announced its earnings for the fourth quarter of 2016, and while the company did turn a profit of $49.7 million, it missed investor targets substantially. The resulting effect on Fossil's stock wasn't pretty.
