List of every Android device that will support the 'Fortnite' beta

Yep, another Fortnite post. People just can't seem to get enough. This time around I would like to cover the upcoming beta and the devices that will support it. The first thing to note is that only Samsung users have official access to the game right now, but there is a forthcoming beta for non-Samsung users that should launch in the next few days, and you can sign up for it on the developer's website as of today. Device support is limited, but it looks like most newer high-end phones are included.

Fortnite is out for select Samsung devices [APKs]

Alright, alright, everyone settle down. Fortnite is indeed here, but if you have been paying attention to the buildup to this release, you will know full well that it won't be available on the Play Store. It is however available on the Galaxy Apps store, and you can even get to the initial download from Samsung's Game Launcher application. You will need a recent Samsung device for this access, so as long as you own an S7, S8, S9, Note 8, Note 9, Tab S3, or Tab S4, you should be golden.

Galaxy Note9 is official: Bigger battery, powered S Pen, and Fortnite for $1,000

In keeping with Samsung's yearly tradition, the latest entry in the Note series has been formally revealed. The new Note9, like the S9 before it, is an incremental advancement over its predecessor rather than an outright revolution in design. Packing the latest Snapdragon 845 and a sizeably increased 4,000mAh battery, Samsung's new Note phone includes all the best features we have come to expect from a 2018 flagship, with none of the notch. In keeping with the swelling specifications, the price has also increased to a round $1,000.

Epic Games may distribute Fortnite for Android on its website rather than the Play Store

Fortnite is supposed to come to Android this summer, but developer Epic Games hasn't offered any firm timeline yet. A recent report suggested that Fortnite would launch as an exclusive on the Samsung Galaxy Note9, and that may not be the developer's only trick. The game may never come to the Play Store at all. Instead, everyone would need to download it from the Epic Games website.

[Update: Coming this summer] Epic Games' third-person shooter 'Fortnite Battle Royale' is coming to Android in the next few months

Epic Games has officially announced that it is bringing Fortnite Battle Royale to mobile. Starting Monday, March 12, you can sign up for an invite event for iOS, though sadly support for Android is slated for release in "the next few months." What is impressive though, is that this mobile version is planned to exist right alongside the PC and console releases, as it will include the exact same content and update schedule. Even more excitingly, it will support cross-play and cross-progression between PlayStation 4, PC, Mac, iOS, and eventually Android. While it does suck that Android is always treated as the redheaded stepchild of mobile, at least we know a release is planned.
