NuForce BE Free6 truly wireless earbuds sound good and don't break the bank, but fit is a concern

The selection of "truly wireless" earbuds is truly staggering these days. They've gone from being crazy expensive status symbols to the norm, with surprisingly cheap models available. But even at $100, mid-range options like the Optoma NuForce BE Free6 still need to make some compromises to hit that price. You get good sound, decent battery life, and USB Type-C charging, but I had some serious problems when it came to fit, and there's no app for updates or other functionality.

Google Shows Off The Optional Mono Earbud On The Upcoming Version Of Google Glass

In case you hadn't heard, there's a new version of Google Glass coming, and all current Glass Explorers are invited for a free upgrade. In addition to presumably boosted specs and support for prescription lenses, the new model will have an audio-out port for an included and optional mono earbud. Google posted the following photos of the hardware in action on the Glass Google+ page.

Don't worry, Glass fans: the bone conduction audio from the original model of Glass will still be included, according to a response from the account administrator. The single-side earbud is completely removable, and should be a major help for when you're using Glass in a noisy environment.

Review: Ultimate Ears TripleFi 10 Earbuds Are True Hi-Fi In Your Pocket, And Your Lightened Wallet Will Provide The Extra Space

I'll make it known now, I've been itching to try out Logitech's Ultimate Ears TripleFi 10 headphones for some time. Artem, the Android Police Chief, if you will, swears by this pair of headphones. I'm pretty picky about sound, so I wasn't entirely certain if I'd come to love them as much as he does. But after a couple of weeks with these rather pricey earbuds, I have to say, the sound is better than any other earbud I've used (admittedly, I've not tried any other earbuds above the $150 mark for any meaningful amount of time).

Review: Klipsch S4A Headphones For Android Combine Great Sound With An Awesome Control App

I'll be the first to admit, I'm a big fan of Klipsch. I like their style, their sound signature, and their products generally. I started with a ProMedia 2.1 computer speaker setup, and have since graduated to a pair of their reference bookshelf speakers, and I've been pleased the whole way through. I had never, however, tried their headphones. Until recently, Klipsch's in-line control headphones designed for smartphones had only fully worked with iOS devices. With the S4A, that changed - it's the first Klipsch headphone designed specifically for use with Android devices.

What's the word? They're definitely a Klipsch product.

Review: Samsung HM7000 Bluetooth Headset - You'll Still Look Like A... You Know. But It Works Great

People who constantly wear Bluetooth headsets annoy me. I'll admit it. Yep, it's probably pretentious, judgmental, and just kind of mean, but nonetheless, that's where I stand (see: this highly relevant video). I figure it's only fair warning for you, our readers, going into this review. So, when Samsung offered me a chance to spend some time with their latest high-end Bluetooth headset, the HM7000 (the product naming department was on vacation), I accepted with a good deal of hesitancy.

Overview

Samsung HM7000 Bluetooth Headset

  • Price: $100 (less on Amazon)
  • What is it? A Bluetooth headset - as you might have guessed.
