Unrevoked Forever Debuts: Your Phone Today, Your Phone Tomorrow – Flash Unsigned Updates On Your EVO 4G Or HTC Incredible

This tool does appear to do a permanent NAND unlock, irreversibly voiding your phone’s warranty, proceed with caution.[/note]

This night keeps getting better and better. The unrevoked team just announced the release of their anticipated Unrevoked Forever tool. What does it do? While the summary provided by unrevoked is a far better explanation, I’ll keep it short and sweet: once you install unrevoked forever, your phone can flash unsigned updates, no matter what, forever.

Swiftkey Beta Now Updated To Include Speech-To-Text! Also Includes Various Fixes And Improvements

All I can say is “YAY—FINALLY!” Can you tell that I am totally psyched about the addition of speech-to-text to Swiftkey?

If you recall, I did a brief review on Swiftkey beta back in mid-July. I have been using this keyboard exclusively since that time and have not looked back. In my humble opinion, it is better than any keyboard, including Swype, that I have tested to date on my Droid Incredible.

Android 2.2 FroYo Ported To Motorola Milestone (Build FRF91) By dext3r

ModMyMobile forum member dext3r has released a Milestone update image containing Android 2.2 FRF91, known as MotoFrenzy. Because of the Milestone’s still-locked status, it has been notoriously difficult to port updated versions of Android to. This should help to assuage fears that the Milestone was forever doomed to run Android 2.1.

Download Links:

  • MotoFrenzy v0.1a (Full image, needs to be flashed with OpenRecovery (ADB Recovery)
  • MotoFrenzy v0.1b (Incremental, link goes to post, download is at bottom of first post; you must register to download)

The only major issue with this image is a non-functional camera, which shouldn’t be too much for Milestone users to give up for a little FroYo.
