JSS15Q Update Rolling Out To 2013 Nexus 7 With A Multitouch Bug Fix

The new Nexus 7 is a sweet device, but it's not uncommon for a new product to have a few bugs. Such is the case with the NN7, which was exhibiting odd touchscreen behavior for some users. Google has confirmed that an Android 4.3 update with a fix for the touchscreen bug is going out now. Indeed, build number JSS15Q is starting to hit devices right now.

JWR66Y Android Update May Also Be Rolling Out To The Nexus 10 [Update x2: N10 Confirmed, 3G Nexus 7 Too]

Update: Multiple confirmations now that this update is indeed happening. Commenters and some well-known XDA users are getting JWR66Y. It's still looking like a minor security update and nothing more.

Update 2: The 3G Nexus 7 (2012) is getting the update as well. Not only that, the OTA update link has been spotted. This is the Nakasig version, remember. The WiFi variant is Nakasi, and no news on that yet.

HTC One X Android 4.2.2 Update Rolling Out To Multiple European WWE CIDs, Includes Sense 5 And BlinkFeed

While we haven't heard a peep about the Android 4.2 update rolling out to the HTC One in the US, it's old news in Europe. In fact, HTC is already rolling out the 4.2 update to last year's flagship, the HTC One X, on that side of the pond. European owners of the Tegra 3-powered handset will now get to taste Sense 5, including BlinkFeed, but they have the option to disable the latter if they're not interested.

HTC Starts Android 4.2.2 Rollout For One X+ – OTA Live In Taiwan, System Dump And Custom ROM Already Available

HTC hasn't completely forgotten its older devices as it continues talking up the HTC One. The One X+ is finally getting an update to Android 4.2.2, which is actually newer software than the current generation One in the US runs... but that's beside the point. The OTA is hitting Taiwan first, but we've already got a full system dump and a ROM based on it.

The software features are essentially the same as you'd see on other HTC devices running 4.2.2.

Android 4.2.2 Updates Rolling Out To Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 LTE (GT-N5120) And Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 3G (GT-P3100)

Samsung seems to be on a bit of an update spree lately, trying to get its devices up to speed on Android 4.2. This time it's the LTE Galaxy Note 8.0 and the somewhat older Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 with 3G. Attacking the system update button like an enraged jungle cat won't do any good, folks. These updates are rolling out in stages.

T-Mobile's HTC One S Gets Small Update To Version 3.14.531.17, Supposedly Fixes Battery Life Woes

For a long time, the HTC One S was one of the most compelling phones on T-Mobile. That really tells you something about the lineup America's smallest national carrier was working with last year. There are plenty of these devices walking around, so today's update will be good news for many. That battery life problem introduced in Jelly Bean should be taken care of finally.

AT&T HTC One X+ Updated To v1.19.502.1 With Bug Fixes Galore, Full ROM Download Available

Even though HTC is now focusing on its new baby (and possible savior) the HTC One, that doesn't mean the company has completely forgotten about the last generation. AT&T's HTC One X+ has just gotten an update to v1.19.502.1. Sadly, this is still Android 4.1.1, but it does fix a few nagging issues.

The full change log is straight to the point. HTC is fixing bugs, and not much else:

  • AT&T Address Book Fixes
  • Bluetooth fixes
  • Wi-Fi fixes
  • Other minor bug fixes

One X+ owners can pull the update down manually, or wait for the OTA to show up on its own.
