Google Search dictionary results can now be filtered by topic

These days, Google Search isn't only a great tool for finding websites that give you whatever information you're looking for, it also offers some insightful results right below the search bar, like definitions provided by the Oxford dictionary. For some words, these entries can quickly become convoluted, though, especially when they change their meaning when applied to different contexts. To make it easier to sift through these, Google Search now lets you filter results by topic for some words.

Google Translate v5.8 adds dictionary-style definitions, an account switcher, and simplifies phrasebook syncing [APK Download]

Translate has gone through a couple of changes with a new update rolling out today. A look through the app turned up an enhancement to the standard word translation screen that now includes definitions, example phrases, and synonyms. The navigation drawer has also been updated to include an account switcher, not to mention a slight tweak to the visuals. Google Search Will Now Define Spanish Words For People Who Google Using Spanish Settings

Google will provide the definition for any word it knows, as long as you ask nicely (just typing "define" usually gets the job done). For anyone who doesn't get what I mean, here's an example.

As an English speaker, this functionality is just something I take for granted. But like everything else, it takes time to expand this out to other languages. Now Google's drawn attention to the feature's availability in Spanish. If you use Google with Spanish settings, asking it nicely (ahem, typing "define") and following up with the desired word will yield the following.
