Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Trilogy release hero
Capcom's Ace Attorney Trilogy is finally available on Android in English, and it's on sale until June 15th

Nine years after the iOS release, the courtroom adventure trilogy finds its way to Android

Capcom's Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy never made its way West with an English translation as it did on iOS in 2013. Sure, Capcom went on a spree bringing plenty of other titles in the series to mobile in 2017, but the original trilogy never saw a release outside of Japan on Android. This all changes today as Capcom has finally launched the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy on Android in English, and you can currently pick up a copy on sale for $18.99 in celebration of its release.

Jurassic World Primal Ops hero
Jurassic World Primal Ops looks like it should have stayed extinct

Behaviour Interactive was so preoccupied with whether it could, it didn't stop to think if it should

Behaviour Interactive is a developer known for its asymmetric horror game Dead by Daylight, and the studio just announced it's working on a free-to-play mobile Jurassic World game, with a fresh trailer and a website that already offers the ability to pre-register. It's called Jurassic World Primal Ops, and it will offer collection-based play where you'll capture dinosaurs to build a team. While there's still no release date, the game is expected to arrive soon, possibly in time for the release of the latest movie in the series, Jurassic World Dominion. Talk about incredible timing.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel first event hero
Log into Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel's very first event to earn some special rewards

The Xyz Festival runs from February 17th to the 24th

Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel may have landed on Android later than other platforms, but seeing that the game has been available on the Play Store for the last two weeks, it would appear that it's time to kick off the very first post-launch event. The limited-time Xyz Festival brings with it special Duel instructions, a new solo mode, as well as a new Structure Deck. The event will run from February 17th until the 24th, and those who sign in during this event will be rewarded with extra Gems and a festival bonus.

Gotta Kill 'Em All: The Witcher's take on Pokémon Go is now available on Android

Currently under maintenance, because of course it is

The Witcher: Monster Slayer was announced back in August 2020, a free-to-play augmented reality collection game à la Pokémon GO. While we've heard little about the title, it did enter into early access sometime after April. Well, as of today, the game is finally available on the Play Store for pre-registration in preparation for its newly-announced release date, July 21st. That's right, The Witcher: Monster Slayer will be officially released later this month, which means fans don't have much longer to wait.

SINoALICE is the latest RPG from Yoko Taro, and it's available today for the first time in the West

Coming from the head video game director behind Nier: Automata

Yoko Taro's mobile RPG SINoALICE will finally see a worldwide release after an indefinite delay last year. The game was initially published in Japan back in 2017 by Nexon, and yet it would appear that the publisher wants nothing to do with the title anymore, and so Nexon is transferring the license to the original developer Pokelabo. Interestingly Pokelabo has just announced that it's cooperating with Square Enix to bring the game to the West on July 1st, though I have to wonder if this announcement is simply a last-ditch effort to make money with an aging mobile game that even Nexon couldn't bring to fruition as a global release.

Much like Dragon Quest of the Stars (coincidentally released today), Romancing SaGa Re;UniverSe is an older gacha RPG that's coming to the West. You see, Square Enix actually released Romancing SaGa Re;UniverSe in Japan back in 2018, and apparently the title is coming to the West with an English translation in tow sometime this summer, and guess what, this English version just landed on the Play Store as a pre-registration listing.

Ubisoft's Clash of Beasts lets you devastate cities with giant monsters, now available in early access

Who doesn't want to play a generic gacha game from Ubisoft?

You may not have heard of it, but Ubisoft has a new mobile game in the works called Clash of Beasts, and it's an uninspired gacha game where you'll collect giant monster in order to wreak havoc on villages that are for some reason filled with towers. There's a base-building mechanic, on top of the tower-offense gameplay and hero collection system, because why release a mobile game if you can't shove every popular mechanic into the title that's possible.

Game of Thrones Beyond the Wall is a new collection-based strategy RPG that's coming to Android this summer, and it's already available on the Play Store for pre-registration. Player's will take command of the Night's Watch to defend Westeros by collecting notable characters that will be useful in the game's strategic battles. The story takes place a few decades before the timeline of the books and TV show, which means this upcoming release will serve as a prequel of sorts.

Battle Breakers has been in testing on the Play Store since 2017, but Epic has unceremoniously turned the servers off for the Play Store version, most likely because the game has been officially launched through the Epic Games launcher, a third-party app that was previously known as the Fortnite Installer. If you're unfamiliar with Battle Breakers, it's a free-to-play RPG that contains hero collection mechanics. The story revolves around menacing monsters from space that have trapped the world's heroes inside of magical crystals, and of course, it will be your job to free these heroes by fighting these monsters in an RPG setting.

Last year during E3 we learned that Gears of War would be coming to Android with a Funko Pop skin slapped on top, so I suppose it's only right that at this year's E3 Microsoft has officially announced that fans can pre-order Gears POP on the Google Play Store through a new pre-registration listing. This mobile offering has been designed around collecting and upgrading dozens of Gears of War heroes and villains that are displayed in a distinctive Funko Pop style, which does not bode well if you were hoping for a premium release.

The above image details the closing date for Star Ocean: Anamnesis, the removal of the title's IAPs, and thanks fans for playing the game. While I would imagine this announcement may come as a surprise to some, it would appear that there are a few reviews on the Play Store that noticed Square's recent lack of interest in the game, so I suppose the warning signs were there if you were looking closely. Of course, those that sunk a lot of money into the title will lose access to all of their content once the game's servers are closed in November, but hey, doesn't it make you feel better knowing that Square thanked everyone while slinking away with all of your hard work.

Earlier this month we learned that Bandai Namco would bring its collection-based Gunpla battle game to Android before the summer was over, and at the time an iOS listing offered a clue that August 21st would be the expected release date. It would appear that Bandai has pulled the trigger a little early. As of this morning, the English version of Gundam Battle is officially available on the Google Play Store.

Bandai Namco has announced Gundam Battle: Gunpla Warfare, a collection-based battle game which just so happens to be the first Gundam title that will make its way to the West on Android. This upcoming release is themed around the hobby of collecting and building Gunpla and will feature 25+ Gundam from the anime series. A summer release is expected, and you can pre-register on the Play Store starting today.

Back in March Niantic opened up pre-registration for its upcoming augmented reality game Harry Potter: Wizards Unite. Overnight Niantic has launched beta access to the game in New Zealand. This way the developer can receive some constructive feedback as a small compact region puts the beta release of Wizards Unite through its paces.

Last month, the English version of Shin Megami Tensei Liberation Dx2 was listed on the Play Store for pre-registration. At the time, I assumed the official release would follow shortly, so it's not much of a surprise to see that it's available for download today. Fans of the Shin Megami Tensei series will be able to jump into an all-new story in the long-running post-apocalyptic adventure. So get ready to explore 3D dungeons as you collect a massive amount of demons in this new gacha JRPG from Sega.

Teen Titans GO Figure! is a new Android release based on the hit animated Cartoon Network series Teen Titans GO!, but it's also the sequel to the hit mobile game Teeny Titans. The original title was all about collecting your favorite DC Comics characters, and so is this sequel. To be exact, Teen Titans GO Figure! (or is it "Teen Titans GO! Figure," even Cartoon Network seems unsure) contains over 100 collectible heroes, including fan favorites such as Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash, and the Radical Titans.
