Don't upgrade to Android 10 if you rely on cross-device clipboard syncing

Many of Android 10's changes, like the new dark theme and extra notification management tools, are popular additions to the platform, but not every tweak is so well-loved. If you relied on clipboard syncing for your mobile-to-desktop workflow, you're out of luck. Google nerfed clipboard managers as part of Android 10, and now that the update is rolling out to Pixel users widely, those that depended on that functionality to stay productive are out of luck.

OneClip Is Microsoft's Upcoming Cross-Platform Cloud Clipboard Service

There's little doubt in anyone's mind that Microsoft has been marching forward with its cross-platform strategy over the past months. The company has been releasing more and more apps for Android and iOS, trying to spread its wings beyond its own operating systems and grab a few users across the pond. While some of these apps are the serious productive tools that we expect from Redmond, others have been quirky, experimental, and sometimes even wtf-worthy. That's not the case with OneClip. It's interesting, useful, and in line with Microsoft's OneDrive and OneNote efforts.

The service is still in beta and hasn't been officially announced.
