[Deal Alert] OnePlus is knocking up to 70% off accessories in a Back to School sale

Students are heading back to school. That means phones are leaving the careful confines of home and venturing back out into the world... Okay, I was going to insert a joke about nerds not leaving the house over the summer, but this year, this happened, so I'm just going to move on.

Case maker Incipio adds Skullcandy, seller of allegedly fashionable headphones, to its stable of companies

Casual observers of the electronic accessory scene will probably recognize Incipio as a seller of respectable if somewhat unremarkable cases for flagship phones and tablets. Incipio makes other accessories too, but cases and other protective add-ons are their bread and butter... which is probably why the company has left acquisitions like Braven to do their own things even after acquiring them. Observers will also know Skullcandy as a seller of remarkable if less-than-respectable headphones, lining Best Buy and Target shelves all over the US. As of this week, Incipio owns Skullcandy. How about that.

PSA: Some Nexus 6P Cases Make It Super-Frustrating To Take Screenshots

Google has a number of neat case options in the Google Store for this year's Nexus phones. If you've been planning on picking up one of the official cases like the "Adopted" model, you might want to pay attention to the buttons. It actually makes taking a screenshot almost impossible. If you've already got one of the official cases and have thus far been under the impression you are losing your mind, you'll be happy to know it's not you.

Google Is Apparently Curious If You Would Like To Turn Your OnHub Into A Paper Towel Holder

OnHub is Google's attempt at a router that's easy to set up and, unlike most others, pretty enough to leave out in the open. But it could be prettier. Rather than roll out new hardware this early in the game, Google seems to be interested in producing new cases—or shells—to replace the blue one that comes with the device.

At least one person has completed a Google Opinion Rewards survey (Google's way of acquiring user feedback in exchange for Play Store credit) asking questions about the OnHub. Particularly, would you be interested in purchasing one of three potential shells, and what price would you consider reasonable?

Case manufacturers have perfected the art of churning out cases for phones based on pre-release leaks. Well, I should say almost perfected. It looks like many of the third-party cases currently listed on Amazon for the Nexus 6P will block the laser autofocus port.
