Capcom is finally releasing a new Puzzle Fighter game, and it's coming to Android later this year

It would appear that Capcom has been listening to its most die-hard fans as it's finally bringing us a new game in the Puzzle Fighter series. Capcom Vancouver is developing it, and it's going to be a mobile only release. If you're worried about a western studio developing what was originally a very Japanese looking and feeling game, or the fact that this is strictly a mobile only release, well, I am sad to say that your fears are warranted.

[No Objection] Capcom's Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies is out on the Play Store

Capcom's Ace Attorney series likely needs no introduction, spanning several games across multiple mobile platforms. In Dual Destinies, you take the role of defense attorneys Phoenix Wright, Athena Cykes, and Apollo Justice to find the truth in various court cases. The game was released for the Nintendo 3DS in 2013 and for iOS the following year, and now Dual Destinies is out Android.

Capcom brings Ghouls'n Ghosts MOBILE to the Play Store

Capcom has been steadily porting many of its classic games onto Android for the last 6 months. The newest title to come to the Play Store is Ghouls'n Ghosts MOBILE, the sequel to Ghosts 'N Goblins and a brutally difficult side-scrolling platformer in its own right. The game has been optimized for mobile and it includes new content, but is that enough of a draw to get past the difficulty expected of a touchscreen controlled platformer?

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies is coming to Android

Capcom's long-running Ace Attorney series has been popular on the Nintendo DS and 3DS, and we're slowly starting to see some of the titles arrive on Android. Capcom's arcade classic Wolf of the BF:Commando MOBILE shoots onto Android

Capcom seems to be on a roll with their classic releases coming to Android. First, it was the lackluster Mega Man Mobile games, then 1942 Mobile and Ghosts 'N Goblins Mobile. Today Capcom has released Wolf of the BF:Commando MOBILE, an old-school arcade shooter. Now, if you are saying to yourself, "why have I never heard of Wolf of the BF?" Well, the answer is that you may know it better by its US NES title of Commando. That's right, the NES Capcom classic Commando was just released -- but does it retain that certain je ne sais quoi from yesteryear?

The original Ghosts 'N Goblins comes to the Play Store for one dollar

As part of its recent push to mobilize its classic arcade portfolio, Capcom has dusted off 1985's famous action-platformer for an Android release. Ghosts 'N Goblins, first released in the arcade more than 30 years ago, now has an official port in the Play Store going for 99 cents. It's playable on just about any phone or tablet running Android 4.1 or above, but sadly, not with Android TV or Bluetooth controllers. As some of the game's bad guys would say: boo.

Capcom releases 1942 Mobile, but is it any good?

What is this? Another classic Capcom title with the word "Mobile" affixed at the end? If you think that looks eerily familiar to the Mega Man Mobile games recently released on the Play Store, you would be correct. Sadly, this means that 1942 Mobile is not a port of the arcade classic but a rehash of one of their mobile JAVA releases from years back. Yep that is correct, this is a port of a flip-phone game. While not necessarily a bad thing in and of itself the question remains... has Capcom learned from past mistakes?

Capcom plans to bring classic Ghosts N Goblins, Ghouls N Ghosts, Commando, and 1942 arcade games to Android

Capcom's big push to bring Mega Man titles to Android didn't go over very well. Neither did its first Android title, Apollo Justice, which came without the chapter-by-chapter pricing of the iOS version. But maybe the third time will be the charm. Today the game publisher announced its intention to re-release mobile versions of four of its classic arcade games: Ghosts N Goblins, Ghouls N Ghosts, 1942, and Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando. Unfortunately there are no dates or prices available at the moment.

All six original Mega Man games are now on the Play Store, and yup, they're terrible

Please don't give Capcom any money for its official Mega Man Android ports. The company hasn't earned any. You'd think that almost 30-year-old games, designed to run on a console with less computational power than the average DVD player, could be ported to Android with relative ease. You would be wrong. All six of the original Nintendo Entertainment System Mega Man games are now on the Play Store for two bucks a pop, and they're just as good as that trailer indicated they would be. So, they suck.

Well, it turns out those Android Mega Man ports look like a tremendous pile of crap

The title of this article gets the point across, but watch the trailer below to see what I mean.
