[New Game] Bulkypix Launches Meltdown, A Free Top-Down Shooter With Nifty Point-And-Click Controls And Online Co-Op

Bulkypix's last game was a first-person shooter featuring zombies running amok on a spaceship. It wasn't the most original premise out there, but at least it was somewhat of a visual treat. Yet if that offering was just too mindless for your tastes, the team is at it again with Meltdown, a top-down shooter with a tad more creativity, much more charm, and even a semblance of depth.

In Meltdown, players assume the role of a red headband-wearing blondie clad in bulky blue armor. This does little to dispel the initial first impression that the game will contain little more than top-down, gun-toting, robot-slaying goodness, but your very first steps will reveal otherwise.

While we're still more than a week away from the unveiling of Dead Trigger 2, those who love this type of game may be feeling sad and lonely, wishing for something else to play. Good news! We have just such a game for you: say hello to Dead Effect.

This game is basically Dead Trigger meets Dead Space, as it pits you against armies of undead hordes on a spaceship. It's unclear where these space zombies came from – perhaps something went wrong during some sort of cryo-sleep that accidentally turned the crew of the ship into mindless, flesh-eating undead.

Undead Soccer from Bulkypix is a casual title that's a little bit first-person shooter, and a little bit sports game. It's also a little bit greedy, but we'll get to that.

Undead Soccer basically involves flicking soccer balls at the approaching hoard of zombies in order to survive. You tilt the device from left to right to pan around and get the undead in your sights. You just fire away until the zombies eat your brain, then start over.

Aby Escape Lands On Android, Perpetuates Stereotypes That All Raccoons Are Thieves On The Run

Yes, this is a story about a running game that was popular on iOS now arriving on Android. No, it's not that one. Or that one. This one is called Aby Escape. In this game, you play as a raccoon attempting to escape from a hunter, a cop, and...a biker? Sure, I guess they chase raccoons. Who says they can't? And just to prove it, this raccoon, Aby, is going to run like mad from all of these pursuers.

If you've played a running game before, you know the drill. Avoid obstacles, collect things, and don't get caught. This iteration of the genre also includes a story mode that promises you will laugh.
