[Update: Open beta live] Valve's Auto Chess competitor Dota Underlords is coming to Android

It would appear that everyone's favorite new MOBA trend is Auto Chess, so of course, Valve has their own version in the works that's built off of Dota. The game is called Dota Underlords, and it just entered into a limited beta where Dota 2 Battle Pass owners can jump in early to test the waters on PC. After a week of stress-testing through Battle Pass, an open beta will begin for everyone else, and this will include Steam (Windows, Mac, and Linux), Android, and iOS users.

[Update: Australia too] Harry Potter: Wizards Unite beta is available on the New Zealand Play Store

Back in March Niantic opened up pre-registration for its upcoming augmented reality game Harry Potter: Wizards Unite. Overnight Niantic has launched beta access to the game in New Zealand. This way the developer can receive some constructive feedback as a small compact region puts the beta release of Wizards Unite through its paces.

Fortnite beta invites are going out, as first wave comes to non-Samsung phones

As per an official Tweet yesterday evening from Epic Games, the developer has clearly stated that it has opened up the Fortnite Android Beta to more devices. Tencent soft-launches 'PUBG Mobile Lite' beta in the Philippines

Now that Fortnite has taken over mobile gaming news for the week I bet Tencent is none too pleased that PUBG Mobile has taken a backseat. Well, to ensure that PUBG Mobile gets its own press coverage Tencent has soft-launched a lite version of its battle royale shooter in the Philippines. It's based on Unreal Engine 4, and it's optimized for devices with low RAM. This ensures PUBG Mobile Lite will be compatible with low-end Android devices without necessarily compromising the gameplay experience of the original release.

Minecraft 1.5 brings Update Aquatic Phase 2, and beta 1.6 adds barrier blocks

Minecraft has always existed as a work in progress, but ever since Microsoft purchased the property, it seems like new updates are being released at a record-setting pace. Maybe it just appears that way because of the game's massive popularity and coverage, as the last big update actually happened two months ago.
