Superhero flicks are all the rage these days — at least, the Marvel ones — and as part of Amazon's early Prime Day festivities, you can $2 rentals for most of the action-filled catalog. That includes Infinity War, and Spider-Man Homecoming, just in case you missed it. $2 also makes this a bit cheaper than the $3-4 cost for the same rentals over on Google Play Movies. Plus, with the recent changes to Amazon Prime Video, you can watch these on your Chromecast, too.

Google 'Thanos' and watch in horror as half your search results go up in dust

Beside Game of Thrones, the most talked about topic these past few weeks has been Avengers: Endgame. While I've yet to see the movie, I am petrified at the thought of Thanos... The villain decimated half of the universe's population in one go at the end of Infinity War, and to say I'm not a fan is an understatement. But there's still some fun to be had with the concept behind his character, and Google is not far from a subtle chuckle to celebrate geek culture.

Samsung Announces The Galaxy S6 Edge Iron Man Edition For South Korea, China, And Hong Kong

What kind of cell phone would Iron Man use? Well, depending on which movie or commercial you watch, it's either an LG (the original movie), an HTC (based on Robert Downey Jr.'s nonsensical brand representation), or an impossible transparent super-sci-fi gadget phone (Iron Man 2). But the ultimate fan of Marvel's movies would definitely use the Galaxy S6 Edge Iron Man Edition, with a unique gold-on-red color scheme to match the suit. And just in case people don't get the hint, it's also got a huge Iron Man helmet decal on the back and a custom Avengers software theme.

Samsung has made the Iron Man Edition official, with a release in the company's home turf of South Korea planned for tomorrow, May 27th, and China and Hong Kong releases next month.

Marvel's Avengers Initiative Adds Captain America For Episode 2, Agent Coulson Squeals With Glee

Alright, so Avengers Initiative wasn't the earth-shattering mobile experience that its marketing made it out to be. In fact, according to Matt Demers' review, it's an Infinity Blade ripoff that only true believers will really enjoy. But for those who finish all their comic reading on Tuesday and are looking for anything more to scratch that superhero itch for the rest of the week, there's a big update to the game. After a long time in development, Marvel (and their parent company Disney) have released Avengers Initiative to the Android masses. The Premise

Avengers Initiative puts you in the role of the Hulk, who has been tasked in bringing in a number of super-villains who have escaped from a high-tech prison in the Marvel Universe. The game plays almost exactly like the popular Ininity Blade series on iOs, where you'll dodge, parry, and perform attacks in 1-on-1 duels.

Marvel War Of Heroes Arrives On Android, Superpowered Card-Based Strategy In Tow

With every $1.5 billion franchise, there's bound to be a slew of games, merchandise, and paraphernalia to go along with it. Today's latest entry is Marvel: War of Heroes, a digital "card" game wherein you play an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. assembling a crack team of superheroes to save the world's supply of ISO-8 from supervillains. Of course, we use the word "card" here rather loosely as anyone who's played a card game before, digital or otherwise, is likely to be a little flummoxed by how this game works.

The strategy of the game seems to take place in deck construction, not actual combat.

Marvel (Sort Of) Releases 'Avengers Initiative,' The First In A Series Of Avengers-Themed Gaming Content

It's difficult to put out a $1.5 billion movie and not expect a few major product tie-ins. Marvel, today, "released" (we'll get to that in a bit) a new game for Android called "Avengers Initiative." This $7 app stars the Hulk, as the green loose cannon battles some of his most notorious villains, including Wendigo, the Abomination, and even the infamous Skrulls. The game will only be available for select Android devices to start with.

Curiously, though, despite the game being available on the Play Store, it doesn't seem to be active. There is a list of devices that will be supported (including the HTC One X, Galaxy S III, Nexus 7, and many other flagship phones and tablets), however it can't actually be installed just yet.
