League of Legends strategy spinoff Teamfight Tactics now available on Android (Updated)

Riot Games (the creators of League of Legends) recently announced three new games for mobile and consoles. I've already covered the announcement for the MOBA League of Legends: Wild Rift, and in this article I'll be talking about Teamfight Tactics: League of Legends Strategy Game, a PvP auto-battler where you'll you’ll draft, deploy, and upgrade from a revolving roster of League of Legends champions. Essentially, it's an auto-chess game. This standalone mobile title should mirror the auto-battle mode found in the PC version of LoL, and cross-platform play is expected between PC and mobile.

Valve's Auto Chess competitor Dota Underlords is coming to Android (Update: Season 1 starts today)

It would appear that everyone's favorite new MOBA trend is Auto Chess, so of course, Valve has their own version in the works that's built off of Dota. The game is called Dota Underlords, and it just entered into a limited beta where Dota 2 Battle Pass owners can jump in early to test the waters on PC. After a week of stress-testing through Battle Pass, an open beta will begin for everyone else, and this will include Steam (Windows, Mac, and Linux), Android, and iOS users.

Ubisoft jumps into the auto battle genre with Might & Magic: Chess Royale (Update: Out now)

Early this morning, Might & Magic: Chess Royale popped up on the Google Play Store for pre-registration, and upon closer inspection, it would appear that this is a title designed to offer large 100-player clashes in the latest take on the auto battle genre, also known as auto chess. Clearly, Ubisoft is keen to get in on the growing auto chess trend, and so has slapped a Might & Magic skin on top of its upcoming auto battler to squeeze out as much nostalgia from the brand as possible.
