Asmodee Digital is best known for bringing many board games to Android thanks to its penchant for creating worthwhile digital ports of physical games. Despite the fact that board games are now more popular than ever, it would seem Asmodee has already worked through its catalog of easily-recognizable titles, such as Ticket to Ride and Carcassonne. This means Scythe: Digital Edition might not have the same name recognition as its forebearers, but it's still a quality release that captures the physical version's asymmetric competitive play.

Yesterday I covered Asmodee Digital's recent announcement that Terraforming Mars would be officially released on Android today. After a quick look at the Play Store this morning, the game is indeed available for purchase. You can pick it up today for $8.99, and this is a premium release, so there are no in-app purchases or advertisements included. Keep in mind, what you actually receive for $9 is the base board game, so the expansions that exist for the physical version are not included, which means the lack of IAPs may change in the future if these expansions ever make their way to the digital versions of the game.

Asmodee Digital published Luckyhammers' digital adaptation of FryxGames' physical board game Terraforming Mars on PC in October of 2018, but thanks to a rough launch the planned mobile release was apparently put on hold. Well, it would appear that Asmodee Digital finally feels confident enough to push out a mobile beta test, which means you can finally pick up the Android version of Terraforming Mars on the Google Play Store for $4.99.

Asmodee Digital has released a new entry in the Talisman board game universe that's been specifically designed to offer a solo experience. It's called Talisman: Origins, and the idea behind this release is that it should allow players to explore the history of the Talisman world along with many of the elements that make up the original game's many expansions.

Asmodee Digital offers quite a few mobile adaptations of popular board games on the Google Play Store, and today the studio has released yet another high-profile title on Android and iOS. Zombicide: Tactics & Shotguns is the company's latest release, and it's based off the collaborative board game Zombicide, though it's not a 1:1 translation like many of the studio's titles. Instead, this new single-player release serves as a post-apocalyptic tactical RPG.

There's a new bundle available on the Humble Bundle website, and it contains a bunch of digital board game adaptations from Asmodee Digital. It's called the Humble Board Games Bundle, and it may not be specifically targeted at Android users, but there are up to five games available for purchase that run on our platform. So if you'd like to pick up Abalone, Harald: A Game of Influence, Splendor, King and Assassins: The Board Game, and Small World 2, you can grab them all today for as little as $8.

Okay, so Humble Bundle's new Digital Tabletop bundle isn't a mobile bundle, but it does happen to include Asmodee Digital's Android versions of Ticket to Ride, Mysterium: A Psychic Clue Game, and Talisman. The first two are both part of the base bundle, so you can snag them for as little as a dollar, but if you want to purchase Talisman, you will have to pay more than the average. The deal will run for twelve more days.

Hankering for a fantasy-themed mobile game but strapped for cash? You're in luck: Talisman by Asmodee Digital is free on the Play Store for the next seven days. The game normally runs $4.49.

The Samsung Gear VR is the less discussed virtual reality headset for Android, and because of that, you often don't hear about the newest Gear VR games hitting the virtual shelves. Well, today I have a big one to announce. Asmodee Digital and Experiment 7 have released Catan VR on the Oculus store and you can grab the Gear VR version right now for $9.99.

Asmodee has been consistently sucking up a lot of properties in the board gaming world, and that has a few people worried since a single company owns so many great games. It most definitely has caused issues for smaller gaming shops that have trouble ordering their wares. But in the Android world, I have found little to be worried about as all of their digital translations have been fantastic. Not only are all of their games fairly monetized, but they also have a high level of polish that is difficult to match. Onitama is their latest game to be released on the Play Store, and it definitely holds to Asmodee's standards. Not only is it a well designed digital translation of an interesting strategy game, but it also happens to work great on touchscreens and is frankly a hoot to play.

Lo and behold Asmodee Digital has stayed true to their word and have released Carcassonne – Tiles & Tactics before the end of the year. Not only does this new version of Carcassonne deliver a worthwhile online multiplayer experience, but it's also cross-compatible with the Steam version that just so happens to have launched today as well. And if that wasn't enough to garner your interest you can also expect two unlockable expansions, all-new 3D graphics, and a solo mode for all of you Meeple lovers out there who want to brush up on your skills before diving into an online or local multiplayer match.

As was mentioned previously on APAsmodee Digital's Catan Stories: Legend of the Sea Robbers was set to release really soon on the Play Store. Well, it looks like today is the day as it is now available for purchase at the low price of $2.99. Unlike the majority of Asmodee Digital's Android games, this new release is not a board game adaptation but is more an interactive story set in the Catan game world that plays a lot like a choose your own adventure game.

Back in August I wrote a post about some of Asmodee Digital's upcoming game releases that were announced at Gen Con. Well, it would appear that they have released some more details about these titles this week for Spiel Essen 2017. Anyone familiar with Asmodee Digital will know that they are one of the largest digital board game developers and publishers out there today. So it is no surprise to see that they have a ton of new games planned for release this year and the next.

Asmodee Digital has just released a new card game on the Play Store. It is called Smash Up - The Shufflebuilding Game, and it's a digital recreation of the award-winning physical "shufflebuilding" game Smash Up. You can grab this new release today for $4.99, and despite in-app purchases being clearly listed on the game's Play Store page, there are in fact none to be found in the game. That's right, this is a fully premium release.

Ticket to Ride: First Journey is a toned-down and easier to understand version of the popular Ticket to Ride train-based strategy board game. It makes a great starting point for kids who have a budding interest in the hobby, and it's a great way to teach the main mechanics of the title without overloading them with complicated gameplay.

Any tabletop fanatic is going to be pretty familiar with popular board game publisher Asmodee Digital. They have produced digital versions of some of the most popular board games out there today. Ticket to Ride, PandemicMysterium, and Splendor are just a few of the high profile releases they have brought to Android, and it would appear that the ride isn't over yet. That's right, Asmodee Digital announced a slew of upcoming games at Gen Con that are either in development right now or are releasing sometime soon.

Asmodee Digital has given us some of some of the best digital tabletop adaptations on the platform. Titles such as Ticket to RidePandemic, and Splendor are truly classics in their own right. Well, today we get another game to add to the list. Say hello to Onirim - Solitaire Card Game, a menacing single player experience that will have you scrambling to escape its infectious design.
