Turntable.fm App Updated, Fixes The Annoying 'System Volume Mute' Bug And Lets You Login With Your Turntable Account

If you've used the official turntable.fm app, then you've probably noticed a couple of different things: firstly, it's awesome. Kicking it in a room and spinning tracks with your homies from your mobile is just rad, and the experience is very similar to that of its desktop counterpart.

Secondly, you've probably also noticed that, upon disconnection of headphones or Bluetooth audio devices, the volume was suddenly muted, even when the turntable app isn't running.

Twitter For Android Updated To Version 3.3 - New Push Notification Options, Expanded Tweet Support, And More

Twitter for Android had been updated to version 3.3, adding support for Twitter's new "expanded tweet" feature, as well as account-specific push notifications. You can now select any account you're following, and using the drop down menu, choose to receive push notifications whenever that account makes a new tweet. Pretty awesome stuff.

Auto-complete for user searches has become smarter as well, and you can now tap on the avatar of any account from a tweet to go directly to the user page.

Groupon App For Android Receives Total Overhaul, Goes Version 2.0

Popular deals service Groupon has had its Android app facelifted, resulting in a new look, as well as a couple new features and services. Take a look at the brand-new UI:

As you can see, the app now looks looks decidedly more Ice Cream Sandwich-y, has added a universal share button, and swipeable categories. You'll also notice new categories for Pets and Rewards (spend enough money at certain businesses and you get loyalty rewards).

Google Maps App Updated To 6.7 - Brings Google Offers, Indoor Directions, 360 Panorama Views For Businesses

The Google Maps Android app has been updated to version 6.7, bringing some new important (and useful) features. You probably figured out what they are. Here's the changelog:

What's in this version:

  1. Discover nearby Google Offers in the US
  2. Indoor walking directions (Beta) for Japan and the US
  3. See 360° panoramas inside restaurants and stores

Google Offers has been having difficulty gaining traction in a market dominated by the Groupons and LivingSocials of the world, and Maps integration may be just what it needs to start getting a little respect.

WordPress's official Android app has been updated with a bunch o' new features, as well as numerous performance and UI enhancements. The popular blogging platform's (hey, we use it) app has been on a bit of a bumpy road since its initial release, but has consistently been improving over the last year. Google Voice App Updated, Brings Voicemail Integration For ICS Devices And Direct Access To Folders

The Google Voice app received an update today that is sure to make frequent GV users quite happy: voicemail integration in the dialer for Android 4.0 devices. Gone are the days of hopping on the computer or launching the GVoice app to listen to your voicemail, as it's now integrated directly into the ICS dialer, much like we saw at the Android 4.0 announcement back in October.

Google+, the titular search giant's latest entry into the social networking scene, has seen some success so far, and of course a mobile app is a critical step in making the service usable and popular. Google Shopper For Android Updated, Google Offers Now Live In New York City

Google Shopper - an app that uses your phone's camera to locate products and prices on the web - received an update today that brings about some new features, as well as an interface overhaul. In an effort to streamline the experience, tabs have been added to the bottom of the app that highlight some of the newest features of Shopper, and the 'starred' and 'history' buttons are now located at the top.
