Android Q app info picks up new stats, rebrands 'disable' as 'uninstall' for system apps

Among all the other changes we've spotted in Android Q, Google is also tweaking the old app info screen for managing specific application details. In addition to a snazzy new look and Material Theme iconography, Android Q merges together general app uninstallation and system app disabling into one label, plus new notification average info. There's even a long-overdue button to open the app in question (yay).

Google Play Store is rolling out new darker colors, question cards in reviews, and testing a few more changes

The Google Play Store has been undergoing a major redesign over the past months. We've seen it (slooooowly) don a whiter color in many of its pages and spotted a new UI for reviews, but several screens remained untouched. [Update: Mystery Solved] [Android 6.0 Feature Spotlight] App Info Menu Is Now Just A Tap Away From The Recent App List

If this is an oft-used feature and you've already updated to Lollipop, then you probably noticed almost immediately that it's seemingly gone in 5.0. That's not actually the case - it's just hidden.

Starting with this release, you must first enable Developer Options (Settings > About device > tap the build number 7 times) before long-pressing a recent app entry will jump into that app's info screen. However, it's still not quite that simple.

Jelly Bean Protip: Long Press Any App Picker Icon To Jump To 'App Info'

An awesome little Jelly Bean tip came across my desk today. Direct from a Googler, no less!

In the middle of a rousing discussion on G+ about the uniformity of Jelly Bean's new default app dialog (GTKA article forthcoming), Adam Powell, an Android framework engineer, clued us in to the following Jelly Bean protip:

You know the app pickers in Jelly Bean? These things:

They've been given a makeover in JB. They switched from a black list to a white grid with giant icons, and that's great and all, but there's a new, less obvious addition to these little menus.
