ML Manager can now upload APKs straight to APKMirror [APK Download]

ML Manager can now upload APKs straight to APKMirror [APK Download]

You may recall us covering ML Manager, an incredibly easy to use APK extractor tool, earlier this month. APK extractor tools can be very useful, from simply backing up applications (perhaps ones removed from the Play Store) to uploading them to APKMirror. But for the latter, opening the site in a web browser and navigating to the upload page was still required.

Thankfully, the developer behind ML Manager has updated the app to support directly uploading to APKMirror. For you awesome people out there who frequently upload the latest versions of apps to the site, this should be a welcome addition.

[APK Download] Chrome Beta 45 Adds Custom Tabs Feature That Was Previewed At I/O 2015, Better Media Controls, And More

Google announced an upcoming Chrome feature called Custom Tabs at I/O back in May. Today, that feature is finally launching on the Chrome Beta channel, and we've got the APK.

Custom Tabs are basically a pop-out web-view that apps can utilize to show users web pages in Chrome (where your passwords and other items are saved!) without actually fully leaving the app. This can make apps that require web-based authorization for sign-in or simply have lots of external web links a lot more convenient to use, and avoids having to use a full-on built-in webview mode that lacks all your synced Chrome information.

HTC's Video Player Makes Its Way To The Play Store To Facilitate Faster Updates

HTC's Video Player Makes Its Way To The Play Store To Facilitate Faster Updates

HTC has been one of the most prominent OEMs to adopt the Play Store as its apps' update ground, decoupling them from the software and thus making it possible to update them separately and regardless of firmware versions, operator approval, and so on. The latest app to join the independent fold is HTC's Video Player.

This is the same video player that's built inside HTC's Sense UI layer, with multiple format decoding, gesture controls (two-finger swipes act as FF and RW for example), streaming, still image capturing, and subtitle support. The player also allows a few simple editing tweaks like trimming and playback speed adjustment for slow-motion videos (on select phones).

[Update: Winners] Win One Of Three Feedly Pro Lifetime Accounts From Feedly And APK Mirror

Ever since the death of Google Reader (RIP, old friend), I've been using Feedly for all of my RSS/news aggregation needs. It started off as a viable alternative to Reader, and did an excellent job of mending the pieces of my broken heart during that transitional phase in my life. Honestly, Feedly was there for me when I needed it most. Thanks for being a great friend, Feedly.

Since then, I've watched Feedly grow into something more powerful than Reader ever was. You can basically run it anywhere – in the browser, on Android, on iOS...wherever. Powerful new features consistently make their way to the platform, and the overall experience just keeps getting better and better.

Out of the box, so to speak, Google+ users must manually refresh the site to see new posts. Some may even want to have a spare tablet that they use to monitor the network 24/7. If you're such a person, you've come to the right place. We understand, and we're here to help.
