[Update: Now widely available in Pie update] Android P Beta 2 adds 157 new emoji, brings back some gender-inclusive ones

Android P Beta 2 / DP3 just landed earlier today, and while we're digging in to look for new features, a few of the more visually apparent additions have already been revealed. Today's release includes support for Unicode/Emoji 11.0—which was technically only officially released yesterday—as well as some tweaked gender-inclusive family and couple emoji which more closely follow the Unicode standard.

Android P Developer Preview 3 now available for Nokia 7 Plus

Google surprised everyone at I/O 2018 when it announced that, unlike all previous Android Developer Previews, the Android P Beta would be available on a wide variety of phones from different manufacturers. The third Developer Preview of Android P, also known as Beta 2, was released for the Pixels earlier this month.

Android P DP3 adds the 'Clear all' button back to the multitasking view

The second Android P Developer Preview brought with it a brand-new multitasking UI, but it also took away the beloved 'Clear all' button that we'd waited so long for. Android's VP of engineering, Dave Burke, clarified that it would be returning soon, and it is indeed back in Android P DP3.
