Unless you own an iPhone, you probably haven't thought about Beats much in a few years. Apple bought the company for three billion-with-a-B dollars in 2014, and its more recent products have been increasingly Apple-focused, Lightning charging ports and all.
But the new Beats Studio Buds break with that tradition. Like newer iPads and MacBooks, they charge with the correct cable (USB-C, that is) and support Fast Pair, meaning they're equally at home on Android as on iOS — and at $150, they look like a bargain next to the $250 AirPods Pro. But while I've certainly enjoyed using them, some missing features stop the Beats Studio Buds from being an unqualified home run.
At this point, there aren't many products remaining in Samsung's upcoming fall lineup that haven't leaked. After learning about its new Galaxy Buds2 specs yesterday, someone managed to get their hands on the pair, giving it a full unboxing before they can even be properly announced.
The AirPods Pro might be made by Apple, but that doesn't mean they aren't worth a look from Android enthusiasts. Apple's flagship earbuds offer a comfortable in-ear fit, a wireless charging case, and top-of-the-line active noise cancellation that's among the best you'll find in earbuds this small. And right now, Woot is selling them for just $189.99, a savings of $60 off the MSRP.
Shortly after unveiling its X7 series, Realme has announced its next set of products in India. The highlight of the launch was the Realme Narzo 30 series, consisting of the 30A and the 30 Pro, but, a pair of affordable ANC earbuds — the Realme Buds Air 2 — and a bunch of gaming accessories also got some screentime.
Mobvoi makes a bunch of earbuds under the TicPods banner, but the Earbuds Gesture are probably the company's most unique (and not just because of the name): you can take or decline calls by moving your head. They also have ANC and solid battery life, so there's a lot going on for just $70 ($20 off).
Active noise cancellation is always nice to have, but it comes in especially handy in situations like workouts where focus is essential. Sony's WF-SP800N are a pair of fitness-focused earbuds that offer ANC capabilities and some of the longest battery life around. And right now, Amazon has them on sale for $129.99 — a solid $18.01 discount.
Samsung's latest pair of truly wireless earbuds might have an unusual shape, but the bean-like design made them one of the most comfortable pairs we'd ever used when we reviewed them earlier this year. Now you can get a pair of your own to plant for just $109.99 from Woot today — a $60 savings off the usual price.
Mobvoi unveiled its latest wireless earbuds yesterday, which now come with active noise cancelation. To celebrate the launch of the new product, the company is offering 10% off for people who pre-order it within the next five days, bringing the price down to $81. Thanks to the promo code below, you can save even more and get them for just $77.
True wireless earbuds have been increasingly popular since Apple launched the AirPods, but the new trend is for them to come with active noise cancelation. Sony's WF-1000XM3 were among the first, followed closely by Apple with the AirPods Pro. German competitor Sennheiser wants to keep up, and just announced an updated version of its Momentum True Wireless buds, which now feature ANC and improved battery life over the previous iteration.
