The prices of music streaming services are constantly in flux, which can make it difficult to determine just how much you’re getting for your money. One trend has become more apparent, however, and that is the overall rise in subscription prices. Spotify raised its prices across all tiers just last month, and now, its competitors are following suit. Amazon has increased the cost of Amazon Music Unlimited plans, and Prime members are not exempt by already having a subscription.

Or are you sticking with standard quality?

Although it seems like the market has largely settled on a couple of flagship options, there's no shortage of ways to stream your favorite songs these days. Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music — these are just a handful of the apps you can download from the Play Store right now before diving into curated playlists and new releases. If you really want to get the most out of your music library, though, you'll need higher-quality audio. You can always turn to local playback, but if you'd rather stick to streaming, plenty of existing plans deliver precisely that.

How to get six months of Disney+ for (nearly) free

As much as six months for as little as $8, provided you haven't subscribed to Amazon Music Unlimited before

If you're into Disney (or Pixar, Star Wars, Marvel, or any of the other properties Disney owns), you're not gonna find a much better streaming deal than Disney+: its base subscription costs all of eight bucks a month. But if you're still on the fence, Amazon's running a great promo for new subscribers — pay for one month of Amazon Music Unlimited, and you'll get up to six months of Disney+ for free. It's just slightly complicated. First, only folks who've never subscribed to Disney+ are eligible; current and past subscribers need not apply. Second, the amount you'll pay for that single month of Amazon Music Unlimited depends on whether you're a Prime subscriber. If you are, it'll run you $8. Otherwise, it's $10.

Amazon invests a ton of money into services like Prime Video and Amazon Photos for them not to get used. So, if you have a Prime Student subscription to get magic markers, USB drives, and self-care packages rushed over to your dorm in two days or less, perhaps consider getting Amazon Music Unlimited. The company is cutting the price of the add-on to just 99 cents per month.Just like Apple Music and Spotify, Amazon contracts with labels to access over 50 million tracks and a bounty of playlists for streaming. This library is available to regular Prime members for $7.99 a month, less than what the competing services have advertised. But the company has lagged behind when it came to student discounts until now.So, if you haven't already gotten a Prime Student account, you can enter into a 6-month free trial and then add on a 3-month free trial of Amazon Music Unlimited before paying 99 cents monthly.[EMBED_APP]https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amazon.mp3[/EMBED_APP]Source: Business Wire, Amazon (1), (2)

Alexa, Alexa everywhere! Amazon is continuing to push its voice assistant and devices everywhere it can and the newest countries after the US, UK, Germany, Japan, India, Ireland, and Canada, to join in on the fun are Australia and New Zealand.Yesterday (sorry we're late on this), Amazon announced that its Alexa Skills Kit (to create voice commands for your service) and Alexa Voice Service (to integrate Alexa itself into your product) are coming to Australia and New Zealand. They're bringing along the three current Echo devices from Amazon's line-up, which are now up for pre-order at introductory prices, with even cheaper special 2-pack discounts. And I can only hope Amazon set up Alexa to answer with "Oi Oi Oi" everytime it hears you scream "Aussie Aussie Aussie!" otherwise it'd be a wasted opportunity.

Amazon's paid music streaming service, Music Unlimited, has been live for a little over a year. Since its launch in the US, it has rolled to a few additional countries like the UK, Germany, Austria, and Japan, but today marks its largest expansion to date: 28 countries are getting Amazon Music Unlimited.I know you're looking for the list, so before I babble on about what Music Unlimited is, here are the countries getting AMU:
