Regardless of your personal preference, there are all sorts of devices ready to launch over the next few months. But forget all of them — they're old news. We know what you're really looking for: keyboards, 5G, and one of the hottest brands from the 2000s. That's right, folks — another BlackBerry phone is still in the works.

As it currently stands, 5G is far from ubiquitous — it doesn't even exist in markets like India — and the compromises and costs associated with it are substantial. It's still fair to want 5G from a flagship phone if you plan to use it for a few years, but the equation changes when we talk about the budget segment where the compromises caused by 5G are more noticeable. The Realme 8 5G is the perfect example of that.

Realme is the fastest-growing smartphone company in the world right now, and it doesn’t seem to have any intentions of losing pace in 2021. The Realme X7 Pro 5G is the latest smartphone to roll off the company’s production line, and at INR 29,999 (~$413), it's an exciting proposition for anyone looking to get a premium smartphone experience without breaking the bank.

While 5G hasn't arrived in India yet, smartphone companies have already started selling 5G phones. The newest kids on the block are the Realme X7 5G and the X7 Pro 5G, which aim to compete with mid-rangers like the Xiaomi Mi 10i and the OnePlus Nord.

5G is the hot new trend in mobile technology, and even if 5G doesn't currently provide much of a tangible benefit over LTE, phone companies are still rushing to meet the expected consumer demand.
