Samsung introduced the DeX Station alongside the Galaxy S8 last year. For those unfamiliar with DeX, it's a dock system that enables you to project a desktop experience to an external monitor. Just one day after 2018 began, Samsung registered 'DeX Pad' as a trademark in Europe. Now we have our first look at the DeX Pad, and while it's not a looker, its purpose is to turn your Galaxy phone into a touchpad.

Evan Blass has just posted images of both the S9 and S9+ in an eye-catching Lilac Purple color. More interestingly than the color, the rumors of the single camera on the S9 and the dual cameras on the S9+ have been confirmed.

With Samsung slated to unveil the Galaxy S9-series of phones next month, it's actually a bit surprising how few leaks there have been. That might be about to change, though, with a photo of an alleged retail box for the Galaxy S9 having been posted on reddit. It reveals a decent amount of information, including a 'Super Speed' camera with an aperture of f/1.5, 'Super Slow-mo,' and stereo speakers that have been tuned by AKG.

The Exynos 9 Series processors were introduced by Samsung almost a year ago, and we've seen them used in the company's flagship phones of 2017. With the announcement of the Galaxy S9 nearing, it's time we learned a little about the chip that will be running the show (outside of the US and China, which will get Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 845 processor), so Samsung has lifted the covers off the Exynos 9810 SoC.
It's built on Samsung's second-generation 10-nanometer process, which boasts improvements such as a faster LTE modem and support for deep learning-based image processing software. As with any new chip, faster performance is promised, and it will apparently handle multitasking better than its predecessor – which is no surprise again.
