You can reserve your Galaxy S10 or S10+ now and save up to $600

Samsung will unveil its new flagships on February 20, and the brand seems to acknowledge we already know almost everything about these devices, so much as to let you pre-order them now. The manufacturer has put up a page to let you reserve the "next Galaxy," on which it explicitly says it "know[s] you know what is coming soon," without sharing any details on the handsets themselves, besides the previously published teaser of a potential folding phone.

It is customary for the Korean company to offer savings for people who pre-order its newest handsets and this year is no exception: The reservation process in the US lets you benefit from a $50 credit on accessories for your new Galaxy and allows you to trade in your old phone for an additional discount of up to $550.

Samsung Galaxy S10, S10+, and S10e pass through FCC ahead of February 20 unveiling

All three upcoming devices in the Galaxy S lineup have stopped by the FCC as we approach the February 20 Unpacked event. Before a device is released in the United States, Samsung needs to obtain certification through the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), and typically the reports are made public before the launch of the device. At this point, the certification is a mere formality as we've seen pretty much all there is to discover about the S10 series, including some up close and personal leaks. Nevertheless, some rumored features can be confirmed.

[Update: S10e too] Press renders of the Galaxy S10 and S10+ reveal Samsung is already trying to hide the hole-punch camera

Previous leaks of the Galaxy S10 and S10+ have been somewhat underwhelming. While the S9 and S9+ have minimal bezels and a full 18:9 display, Samsung's upcoming flagships will still have roughly the same size bezels... but with a camera hole at the top right of the screen. WinFuture and 91mobiles have published press images of both phones, and it looks like Samsung is already trying to hide the camera hole.

Galaxy S10+ with 1TB storage hinted as Samsung starts mass producing bigger UFS chips

With increasing capabilities such as 4K video recording, better processing power, and faster download speeds, smartphones are beginning to require more storage space. A few years ago, it was customary for a phone's base version to offer 8GB of internal memory. This figure has evolved over the years, with last year's Galaxy S9 offering a minimum of 64GB, and powerhouses such as the Note 9 having up to 512GB of internal space.

Samsung just revealed it's doubling this number, by announcing the mass production of a 1TB embedded Universal Flash Storage chip. The news comes in less than a month before the Korean manufacturer unveils its new flagship handsets, strongly suggesting a variant of the Galaxy S10 will feature it, as previous rumors had hinted at.
