Galaxy S20 family formally joins list of devices supporting AR objects in Google Search

On many Android devices, Google Search lets you view tons of 3D models like animals, pets, skeletons, cells, Neil Armstrong's spacesuit, and much more. With the tap of a button, you can move these objects into your home and see them as though they were in your camera's viewfinder. It's even possible to snap photos and take videos. The list of supported phones is ever-expanding — devices like the Sony Xperia 1 II, the Poco X2, the Xiaomi Redmi K30, and Samsung's Galaxy Tab S6 Lite made the cut we when checked in at the beginning of June, and now a few more are popping up, including the flagship Galaxy S20 series.

Poco X2 announced with 120Hz display, Snapdragon 730G, and six cameras for around $225

Xiaomi’s spin-off brand Poco made a splash with its first phone by bringing a Snapdragon 845 chip to the $300 price bracket, reminding many of OnePlus’s early days. A year and a half after the Poco F1 was unveiled, the company is finally coming out with a follow-up called the Poco X2, initially only for the Indian market. The handset is basically a relabeled Redmi K30, which was announced in China alongside the $284 K30 5G in December 2019.

Poco's next phone will be called the X2, likely packing a 120Hz screen and set to launch February 4th

Originally rumored to go by the "Poco F2" name based on prior trademark filings, the successor to the popular Poco F1 budget flagship will be called the Poco X2, according to a new teaser site and subsequent company tweets. Based on the details provided there, the next phone in the Poco series will feature a display with an "extreme refresh rate," a Sony IMX 686 camera sensor, and an unnamed, heatpipe-cooled Qualcomm SoC. The site also teases a launch set for 12PM on February 2nd.
