Motorola DROID 3 Pricing Leaked: $199 With A New Two-Year Contract, $459 Without

Those (im)patiently awaiting the upcoming launch of the DROID 3 now have even more info on what to expect: thanks to Droid Life, we now know what the phone's pricing will look like, both on- and off-contract.

If you're cool with signing a new two-year agreement, you'll be paying the now-standard price of $199. Alternatively, if the shackles of a contract are enough to scare you away, you could purchase the phone off-contract for the fairly reasonable price of $459 (I say "fairly reasonable" since other carriers, such as Sprint, happily charge over $600 for an contract-free phone).

Psst: Google+ Android App Features NFC

While NFC has yet to be widely adopted in smartphones, that didn't stop Google from sneaking it in to the Google+ app. This mean that, when using an NFC-enabled device (read: the Nexus S/4G), you'll be able to read tags and share the contents via Google+. The functionality is quite limited right now, but this could bring big things in the future: automatically check in at a restaurant and share it with your Circles, scan tags to join a Huddle, easily find location-based relevant Sparks...

HTC EVO 3D Review: A Nearly Flawless Device With One Completely Useless Gimmick

To say the HTC EVO 3D has a lot to live up to would be a colossal understatement. Its predecessor, the EVO 4G, ushered in a whole new smartphone era - one replete with 4.3-inch, 4G-capable Android behemoths.

And at least on paper, the new EVO is a marked improvement over the original, packing a significantly crisper display, a processor with twice the cores, and of course the much-ballyhooed stereoscopic 3D capabilities.
