Even though the new phone is on the horizon, OnePlus is still pushing out Open Beta releases for its 2016 flagships. Versions 17 and 8 (for the 3 and 3T, respectively) both bring the same changes, of which there are quite a few. As always, here's the changelog to accompany the updates. Read More
OnePlus has a somewhat spotty record when it comes to updates. The original OnePlus One was updated from Android 4.4 to 6.0, but the OP2 and OPX are still stuck on Marshmallow. Pete Lau, founder and CEO of OnePlus, has confirmed that the OnePlus 3 and 3T will get Android O. Read More
We love the idea of ZeroLemon's battery cases for phones. On paper, they should provide more protection for our beloved devices while also letting us abuse them more and more during the day without worrying about battery level because the phone is constantly sipping on power the entire time. But in reality, some of ZeroLemon's cases haven't been well thought-out (exhibit A). However, it looks that the company has learned a bit from its mistakes and is fixing some of them in its latest releases.
The 4 newest ZeroLemon battery cases to hit Amazon are for the Google Pixel (6500mAh) and Pixel XL (8500mAh), as well as the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T (same case for both, 7500mAh), and the Moto Z (7500mAh). Read More
May has just begun and we already have a new Open Beta for the OnePlus 3 and 3T. It's certainly more exciting than the last one, bringing a changelog that includes more than bug fixes and optimizations (they're still there, but whatever). As usual, I've posted the changelog below. Read More

To round out the first quarter of 2017 (where did the time go?), OnePlus has announced a new build for its Open Beta program for the OnePlus 3 and 3T. Versions 13 and 4, respectively, pack in quite a few new features. But let's dive into the changelog first, shall we? Read More
If you like your phones to not just be dark or drab, but really, completely, and utterly black like your soul (as my fiancé likes to joke), then you better have your wallet ready and aiming to fire dollars at the OnePlus online store. The limited edition Midnight Black version of the OnePlus 3T is now available for sale, but supplies aren't as infinite as the blackness of the phone.
The OnePlus 3T Midnight Black was announced last week and said to be available on March 24 exclusively through boutique retailer HBX. That exclusivity only lasted a few days and it has now landed on the main OnePlus site. Read More
Do you enjoy the simplicity and capability of the latest OnePlus flagship phone, but wish it were quite a bit more black, like that $10,000 performance upgrade to an economy sedan? Well your highly specific dreams have now come true, weird person. OnePlus announced the Midnight Black edition of the 3T today, sporting a swanky matte black coating on its aluminum body. The special edition uses the higher-end version of the phone's specs with 128GB of storage, but has the same $479 / EUR479 / GBP439 price as the current upgraded model. Read More
OnePlus is on a roll with these updates for its 2016 flagships. Just earlier this month, the OnePlus 3 and 3T received Android 7.1.1 via the Open Beta program, but now the new OS version is rolling out to the stable channel users via an OTA. That was quick. Read More
If you happen to have either of OnePlus' 2016 flagships (or both — no judgement here), there are new Open Beta builds available. Among other things, these updates bring the phones to Android 7.1.1 Nougat, which is great to see. Read More
