[New App] MotoCare Evolves Into Motorola Help, Lands In The Play Store

Yet another Motorola app has been added to the Play Store, but it's not as glamorous this time. MotoCare will now be kept up to date on all supported devices, and it's getting a new (slightly more descriptive) name – Motorola Help.

This app contains basic how-tos, tips, and support information. There is an option to call Motorola support directly, or start a chat session. That's more than you get with most OEMs.

Republic Wireless Will Start Selling The Moto G In April For $149 Off-Contract

After launching the Moto X at $299 late last year, Republic Wireless is moving on to Motorola's other current handset. The Moto G will be available without contract for $149 sometime in April and voice plans on Republic Wireless start at just $5 per month.

Some Moto G Owners Are Constantly Losing Connection After The Android 4.4.2 Update

One of the biggest advantages of Motorola's latest phones is that they've been rapidly updated to Android 4.4. But at least some owners of the low-cost Moto G are having serious issues after updating to 4.4.2. US Cellular Adds The Moto G To Its Lineup At $99 Off-Contract

The Motorola direct price on the Moto G is great, but some carriers have opted to sell the phone even cheaper in an attempt to lure customers. US Cellular is following Verizon's lead today in offering the Moto G for just $99.99 off-contract. It's live on the US Cellular website right now and will be in stores February 10th.

Google Nonchalantly Drops The Moto G Google Play Edition, $179 For 8GB, $199 For 16GB

Wow - Google just decided to drop a [small] bomb on us this morning, a la the Google Play Edition Moto G, available immediately on the US Play Store website.

The 8GB model will cost the same $179 that it does at 3rd party retailers for the Motorola version, and the 16GB edition is a mere $20 more, at $199. We definitely didn't see that one coming today!

The device features the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 1.2GHz quad-core processor, quad-band HSPA+ connectivity, and 4.5" 720p display as it was originally unveiled with.
