Motorola Is Headed Back To China With The Moto G LTE, Moto X, And A De-Nexused Nexus 6 Called The Moto X Pro

Motorola is now completely under the Lenovo umbrella, so it's the perfect time for it to head back to China after pulling back some years ago. Motorola will be launching three devices in China—there's the Moto G, Moto X, and something called the Moto X Pro. Judging from the description and photo, it's a Nexus 6 without the Nexus.

2nd Gen Moto G With LTE Pops Up On Brazilian Moto Site - Adds Larger Battery, And LTE Obviously

If Motorola's Brazillian website is to be believed, an LTE version of the 2nd generation Moto G could be on the way soon, and it's packing more than just additional connectivity. According to the specification page, the new LTE G will get a substantially larger 2390mAh battery (versus 2070mAh normally).

There's also a distinct line in the display specifications for the LTE G, but as far as I can tell it's the same 720p IPS panel with Gorilla Glass 3 that the 3G version has.

Team Win Recovery Project Updated To Version 2.8.3, Throws In Moto G 2014 Support For Good Measure

The Team Win Recovery Project (more commonly known as TWRP) is easily the most popular custom recovery used by Android enthusiasts at this point. The latest release, which should apply to all of the current official builds, adds a handful of new features and a bunch of bug fixes. The biggest change is that the ADB sideload method has been modified to more closely align with the AOSP implementation, which keeps the update ZIP file on your computer rather than your phone or tablet.

Motorola Spotlight Story 'Duet' Now Available On Your Moto Devices, And It's Awesome

The third installment of Motorola's Spotlight stories has arrived in the Spotlight Player, and it's called Duet. Like the last two videos, this is an interactive story that you experience by moving your device around to follow the characters. Motorola Publishes Kernel Source Code For The Second-Generation Moto X And Moto G

The 2014 releases of the Moto X and Moto G have been available for a few weeks, but for some reason Motorola has been a bit slow to release the usual mandatory kernel source code. Today you can find them both on Motorola's development GitHub, confirmed by a Motorola employee in the comment section of the wider MSM kernel. Get after it, ROM cookers.
