Verizon is currently issuing OTA updates to a number of its midrange handsets. Yesterday we reported on an update rolling out to the LG Lucid, and now it's the LG Spectrum 2's turn. The Spectrum 2's update isn't exactly more exciting than the Lucid's was, but it's nice to see both devices getting some love.

Looks like Verizon's on a roll – two OTAs in the same day! Earlier today, it updated the support docs for the original Stratosphere with details of an upcoming incremental update, and now it looks like Jelly Bean is getting ready to hit the airwaves on its way to the LG Spectrum 2.

If you're a Verizon Wireless customer, and you're not looking to spend over $100 or so on an Android smartphone, your options aren't exactly limited at this point. If you want one that's relatively current, though, the RAZR M and Incredible 4G are basically your choices, one of which we actually really liked.
