A growing thread on XDA has seen over 100 LG G4 owners claim that their devices are experiencing a rather troubling touchscreen problem with varying severity. Essentially, the touchscreen is regularly "missing" touch inputs particularly around the edges of the screen, causing swipes and other inputs to go unregistered. The problem is being compared to UI "lock-ups" where input goes unresponsive for short periods of time, though it may be more nuanced than that.
So far, Verizon and T-Mobile models seem most affected, though there have been reports of the issue by several AT&T users and at least one person on Sprint.

Many moons ago, LG had promised the release of an official bootloader unlock tool for its G3, but the company didn't make good on its word. It seems that the plans were never forgotten though, because LG's Developer site got a new "Unlock Bootloader" page that does just that, except it's not for the G3 (yet).
While bootloader unlocking is quite easy on Nexus devices, almost all other Android phones and tablets suffer from tightly locked bootloaders that require a bit of tinkering to get access to. Both Sony and Motorola actively try to help developers achieve unlock (and there was a time when HTC did so too), but owners of other brands are usually left on their own - free to roam the forums and try to find a method that works, or to use Sunshine if it's compatible.

AT&T is usually first to the party with new phone releases, or at least with their announcements for availability. Not so with the LG G4 - though the phone's launch on various carriers is only separated by a week or so, Ma Bell decided to wait until just a day before to let us know. In any case, you'll be able to buy LG's latest flagship on AT&T starting tomorrow on its website (at 12:01 AM Eastern, according to the blog post) and on Friday, June 5th in stores.

Verizon will be ready to take your money in exchange for an LG G4 tomorrow, May 28th. The phone won't be in stores until June 4th, but pre-orders will start shipping before then. Also on the 28th, you'll be able to walk into a Verizon store and walk out with the new LG G Pad X8.3, which leaked a few weeks ago.
