Droid RAZR MAXX
Verizon Wireless and Motorola just took the wraps off the new Droid RAZR - the Droid RAZR MAXX, a familiar name we saw leaked a few weeks ago. The RAZR MAXX contains the following changes compared to the original:
- A beefier battery with an unknown at the moment capacity. What we do know is that it allows for more than 21 hours of talk time on a single charge.
We've seen our fair share of Android malware hit the scene, but the guys over at Kaspersky Labs have stumbled upon something rather alarming: the first IRC bot for Android. The tour de force Asus Transformer Prime (which I reviewed
in early December and came away highly impressed by) is listed at HH Gregg for just $400 - that's both in store (if you can find it one available, anyway) and online, too. That may not seem like seem like a bargain for the uninitiated who are more accustomed to the $400 price tag of the original Transformer, but keep in mind that this is the newer, much sleeker, and much
more powerful Tegra 3-touting Prime model, which normally retails for $500

Following the collapse of T-Mobile's planned $39 billion deal with AT&T, the magenta carrier has turned its attention to network quality and performance to draw new customers. Chief Executive Philipp Humm provided comment on the situation Wednesday:
We have a very clear spike on value compared to everyone else. Now it's about bringing the quality phase alive. That's something that during the transition phase kind of suffered.
Magenta lost more than 467,000 contract customers over the 10 months it worked with AT&T on the ill-fated takeover, focusing not on network enhancements, but instead on completing the deal. Humm noted that T-Mobile will have a more clear business plan later this month, but said that the company may consider asset sales. Read More
